Wolf's Den

This place was an awesome find when visiting the state park! Pick your favorite wolf while you wait for your food to arrive. We started with the sampler platter - the taquitos were just ok, but everything else was really good. I ordered the thick crust veggie pizza and can attest that they really heap on the toppings. Crust was really good! Tasted great in the restaurant and leftovers reheated really well. Would definitely eat here again. Note - Cash Only! They have an ATM on-site but plan ahead....

Great pizza. Fast service. Nice atmosphere. Casual dining. Families and groups of all ages. Lots of room.

We keep going back for their famous thick crust pizza, sure their large list of other menu items are good too, see many using their salad bar a lot. Their pizza always lives up to legendary status on our visits. Wife and I never finish the large pizza so leave full and they have a decent selection of bottled beer, make drinks etc. Their pizza is great reheated in the oven or air fryer. Prices are well situated a great place to enjoy a meal and drinks especially with friends! I highly recommend this place.

Spectacular food and a hidden gem. I do see a few reviews that are poor but it looks like they were one timers and small town restaurants should always get more than one chance. How many times does McDonald's screw up your order or make you wait and I bet you keep going back. ANYWAY....

My opinion - you will never eat pizza as good as the thick crust pizza at this place. We live in Rochester, we love pizza, and not a single pizza joint in Rochester can hold a candle to this off-the-beaten path place.

Decor is very 80s and dated, but it is a clean place and every time we go the staff is very friendly. Sometimes it takes a bit for the food but they are a small place so it is understandable.

Great tasting food, many homemade recipes. Large menu with many options. Full Bar.
Prompt service in a laid back, inviting atmosphere. Also a great place to reserve large groups as they have A LOT of space 🙂🙂 They also offer a salad bar and Friday Fish Fry.

Had our daughters graduation party here. It was a great turn out. The staff was amazing and very affordable.

The pizza here is amazing. They recently won an award for it. I'm usually all about thin crust, but it's really their deep dish that is the best. Their other food is good, but I usually order pizza when we're there. They have a good staff, and the owners are good people, too.

Their mixed drinks are pretty standard, and it's pretty much only lagers for beer.

Great little bar in a very small town. It was bigger than expected and kept up very well. The beer was priced very well but do not expect your high end beers. I got the pizza which was really good but not sure how far I would drive for it.

Stopped for our first visit tonight. The place was very clean and the staff was awesome. We had the thick crust pizza which was similar to Pizza Hut’s pan pizza.Very good and we’ll go back!

Royal's place hosted our class reunion. The atmosphere was fabulous and the staff treated everyone with respect and kindness.

Love their deep dish pizza, best I've had in Minnesota so far. Yes, you have to wait a bit for it to cook thoroughly but it is soooo worth it!

Best pizza ever. Belt buster and philly cheese steak pizza. Beer was cold. Great service. Played pull tabs and payed for hole meal.
