Had a wonderful ribeye steak. Service was awesome. Turns out it was my food servers first night on the job. Service was on point. Very nice restaurant! Next time I get to York Nebraska you can bet I'll be eating there again. Steak was better than any steak I have had in Texas where I live.

Excellent service, food was delicious and came out promptly. Our server Tina came by often to check on us.

Place is very spacious and very clean, No loud music, very peaceful and quiet. Stopped by for breakfast which they do offer all day.

Alison was an excellent server. Funny, charismatic, polite, attentive and hard worker. I ordered a ribeye and it was cooked exactly as I asked. It's a better cut of meat than you would usually find in a diner. I will eat here again. Theres a Sapp Bros adjacent to the restaurant so all you truckers can stop here for a good meal.

Great option for lunch or dinner if you are passing through York. Restaurant was under renovation when we were there but the waitress was very sweet, eager to please, food (comfort food dishes) were tasty, hot and prompt. Think open face chopped beef with brown mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes. Priced very well.

Very clean and quiet and our server was really nice and polite. Meal was chicken fried steak which was pork steak mashed potatoes and corn.Yummy!!!

Tonight 5/24/2023 I had ribeye corn and mashed potatoes delicious. I am never disappointed going here

We were trying to find a nice diner off the interstate and indeed we did. Food and service were good. Might just need a little bit more to doctor up my coffee.

We arrived at this restaurant for breakfast on 5/4/23 after staying at a nearby inn, not knowing what to expect. We were not disappointed.
This place is a little jewel.
The service was prompt and the waitress sweet, sharp and friendly.
We each ordered the prime rib breakfast - Yep! Prime Rib Breakfast! (It sounded too good to pass up!)
Wow! I ordered mine with scrambled eggs, with the steak rare, while my husband ordered his eggs over easy, with the steak medium rare.
The prime rib steaks are hand- cut and came to us perfectly grilled and cooked perfectly seasoned...and HUGE!!! (Enough for two meals each!)
The eggs were also done perfectly, the toast tasted like the bread could have been homemade, and the coffee was also VERY good.
It does look like the restaurant might be getting renovated in the back as there is plastic sheeting over the wall, but the rest of the restaurant is clean, well lit, and comfortable. If we lived nearby we would want to come here often.

The waitress (young, red hair) was so good our kids asked if she could be their new babysitter :)

Ordered the rib eye and eggs and not only was it a huge portion for a great price it was also absolutely delicious and perfectly made! Definitely going to stop in any time I'm in the area!

I had breakfast here this morning and the chicken fried steak was very good. I came back for dinner and ordered the Ribeye. The steak, peas, loaded potato and dinner rolls were amazing. I really enjoyed both of my meals and service was great. I will return whenever I can.

This is 1 of our favorite Sunday morning stops. Family owned homemade foods. Service was top notch. Make sure you get there before church gets out though.

You can tell in EVERY Bite, the folks here CARE about the good food they serve as well.
A "must try" if ever in the area and they are open. Slim on Truck parking, but the SAPP Bros. truck stop next door worked great for us!!!

Classic American breakfast lunch and dinner. Staff was attentive food was great I will definitely stop here again on my way through Nebraska.

Great atmosphere. Short wait to be seated on Sunday around noon. The grilled chicken salad was huge and delicious. The ff are tasty.

Server was very nice and friendly. She made suggestions when we couldn't decide what to get. Meals were brought out quickly and were all delicious. Definitely a place I will go to next time I'm in the area.

I got eggs Benedict with some some sourdough toast and coffee. Everything thing was great. The cook did a good job on the hollandaise sauce. The service was just as good. I like that it was nice a quiet first thing on a Sunday morning. Plus for cdl drivers they have a cdl discount. Good place to come back to.

Stopped in for breakfast. Was quickly greeted, seated and drink order taken. My first time there so I needed a few minutes to browse the menu. Everything looked and sounded so good I had a hard time making a decision. Once I ordered, food was brought out quickly, hot and delicious. My server was EXCELLENT. Food was perfect, everything was outstanding. Next time I am in the area I will definitely go back and try something else.

I always get greeted and treated nicely there. When I told them about NAFLD (liver disease) they have been very helpful keeping me on a very low fat diet. In my opinion they've went out of there way to accommodate date me with my breakfasts there several days a week. Thank you to all of the staff at the Kitchen!!!!

Very nice place to stop and have a bite. Staff is INCREDIBLE here and take tremendous care of you. Food is very good and fair priced as well (hard to come by these days). Love the small town feel you get when you dine here and I will be back if I am out that way.
