Extraordinary service & care by the Scandinavian Gift Shop in Alexandria MN! Beautiful selection of “Dale of Norway” sweaters & jackets. I ordered on line and the shop called me to go over details. Wow! Lovely chat with an owner helped me make my choice.

The package arrived in perfect condition and I was stunned to find each book individually wrapped in tissue with a Nordic sticker! All the books were protected in a bag, as was the jacket separately and a sweet note was included with the receipt. What a fine example of Scandinavian care and character.

I am hooked! I will be a regular customer. Thank you for sharing my love of my Norwegian heritage! ♥ 🇳🇴 Pamela Ptak

Always friendly staff. Great variety of gifts and goods at various price points. I love their Dale of Norway selection, the Helly Hansen supply is well stocked also! Lots of little trinkets and gifts from candles, coffee cups, decor and swedish dish cloths!

This place is so cool. It has some unique gifts and books. They have had authors come in and do book signing. Had a coatmaker that has ruines right in the fabric in the store to meet and greet.
The staff is amazing and friendly. Cant wait to see the new goodies this summer!!

This store was exactly what i needed today went in looking for Lefse stick and came out with Hyyge 💕 I could spend all day looking at stuff and not get bored! The little book nook with bench and all those amazing books! I'll be back in December there are a few items I can't live without.

I got the CUTEST Scandinavian ornaments and stationary. The clothing was adorable as well but was more expensive ($150 for a nice sweater). Everything was good quality and cute!

Love the Scandinavian Gift Shop! Great place to find items from the scandinavian countries. Favorite store to purchase extra special gifts. Yes, some products are a little expensive, but it is imported and expected. My daughter loved the runic pendant we bought her for her confirmation gift!

They have some of the neatest things! Things you wouldn’t think you need in your life til you see them. A book with paintings, historical facts and stories by a National Geographic reporter. Clothesline made with runes in the wool and buttons. Nicknacks, glass statues/figures, books, jewelry, and so much more! Seriously take some time to check it out. Lots of fun stuff to see.

I like to come in once in a while to pick up some of the Norwegian candy they sell here. So tasty! They also have a variety of clothing and home decor items, as well as a few tools for the kitchen—picked up a set of rosette irons a couple years ago! Nice store.

One of our favorite stores! Love this family owned and operated downtown Alex shop, we always find great gift items as well as quality Scandanavian household items. No trip to downtown Alexandria is complete without a stop at the Scandanavian Gift Shop!

I LOVE this store!! It's a small piece of Norway right here in Minnesota! Run by a wonderful family, I make sure every year to purchase, at the very least, an authentic dated Norwegian pewter Christmas ornament for my tree! (Or one of the other many beautiful ornaments, pieces of jewelry or clothes.) If you are ever in Alexandria, make sure to stop by!! (And it case your wondering, no I do not know the owners! Lol)

We drove 2 hours to get some special Christmas light bulbs which are difficult to find. We bought extras and then spent an additional $125.00. This place is filled with beautiful, high quality item. We will return to shop here and the adjoining clothing store. The lady who assisted us could not have been more friendly or helpful.
