Ross Lake Park

sit on a sheltered bench and gaze out upon the 118 year - old restored stone hut on Ross Island. You might see an osprey or great blue heron. You’ll hear red winged blackbirds and see beautiful native flowers and a butterfly/pollinator garden.

Such a peaceful little park. I was looking for a park that I could spend some time with my autistic son who loves birds and animals. Some place not crowded with people where you could sit for a while. It is perfect. He loved watching the birds. Hard to believe this park is only 6 minutes from my house. I never knew about it before. It is a little piece of heaven which we all need in this crazy pandemic world. Nice to sit and forget for a while. Bravo to all the people who made this happen.

Ross Lake is a wonderful place to mediate and enjoy the beautiful view.

Sitio agradable para un picnic, tiene parque infantil y cancha de basket allá, además de un lago para observar la naturaleza, muy bonito , pero sencillo
