Stone's Throw Cafe´

Wonderful meal, good beer and wine selection. Menu offers a variety of cuisines and flavors in addition to staples of steak and salmon. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area.

Update: Went back for Sunday brunch. Great spread with the usual suspects (bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs, fruit, etc.) along with made to order omelets ("I can make an omelet from anything in the room."), french toasy, eggs benedict. Plus, freshly made cinnamon rolls and scones, a salsa bar and pulled pork. Cannot recommend enough.

If I opened my own restaurant, I would make it just like this one! Loved the MENU (something for EVERYONE, BBQ/comfort food + LOTS of unique items to try -vegan/veg/ethnic!), the kids play area (train table!!) and the ART everywhere on the walls! Great place. We'll come back every time we visit Morris!

Just moved here in August, and today was my first time ordering from STC BBQ. Customer service was 5stars, and the brisket was phenomenal! I think next up to try, will be the chicken. 😉 Thanks!

Overall a pretty great place. They have good burgers, great gyros, and amazing curry fries (if you try any of their appetizers at all I'd strongly recommend them). The vibe is pretty chill and the staff are friendly. They may not always be the fastest, but I've never experienced a wait time that outweighed the quality of the food they serve, and again, you will not regret ordering the curry fries.

This is a hidden gem in our area! We came from Alexandria and ate here for the first time today. Some really unique menu items and everything was fantastic! I especially loved the sweet potato chips. Maja was our server and he was awesome too and very attentive and accommodating to special menu substitutions. We would come back from Alexandria again just to eat here!

Visited our daughter at the Morris campus—we loved all our hand-crafted sandwiches: BLT with fresh-cooked bacon, Banh Mi, Bacon Cheeseburger! Great fries! Comfortable and pleasant ambience, friendly service. We will be back for dinner and cocktails!

I come here at least once a month, and it's probably my favorite restaurant in town. Beautiful environment, good food and there's always friendly service (especially Ella). The food sometimes takes a while to come out, but it's always worth it.

P.S: PLEASE bottle and sell the sauce that comes with the curry fries. I will buy your entire stock.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food. Portions are great, menu options are amazing, and of course the dessert is the best part!

Field to table yumminess. Solid service and people who care about what they do and how they do it. Food was SUPERB, beer was EXCELLENT, service and interactions with owner and waiters was FANTASTIC. Cannot recommend more. Check it out. You will love it.

Prompt lunch service is a great help to me when I forget a lunch and need to go off site to eat. I am especially thankful that there are vegan options on the menu, there's really nowhere else in town that does this. Many of the menu items not necessarily vegan, can be modified to exclude animal products. I highly recommend Stone's Throw for their adherence to offering menu items that cater to dietary restrictions.

They also have very affordable cocktails and just happen to be the only restaurant in the county that carries my favorite bourbon. Highly recommend Stone's Throw.

My girlfriend Olivia absolutely loved this place. She was so happy that there were so many options for her since she is a vegetarian. The food was delicious, me and her ate everything on our plates. I had a burger and she had I believe a impossible burger that she was really happy they had. I do regret that I didn't have a drink the bar looked really nice and their selection I saw was good. Will be stopping in again next time were in town if only it wasn't so far away. Can't wait to come back and try some more food here and maybe some drinks.

The food at Stone’s Throw is incredible! They have such a great menu with a wide variety of options that I found it hard to choose. I finally landed on the BBQ sandwich with brisket with Spanish fries and was not disappointed! I can’t wait to try all the other delectable-sounding entrees on the menu. And they have great wine! They also have incredible staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. I would 10/10 recommend Stone’s Throw to any of my friends.

Party of five, everyone enjoyed their choices and were excited by all of the varied menu items. I had the Big Mac and cheese with brisket and would definitely highly recommend this meal. Others had burgers, salmon quesadilla, Philly chicken, and cavatappi with evoo, and as I stated everyone was more than pleased. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Worth a drive if you are near Morris, MN! Great service, excellent wine list. Don’t order the garlic bread… it’s TOO GOOD.

I can't believe it took me this long to come to Stone's Throw! The service was awesome! They were understaffed because of the blizzard, so they had the owner taking orders, and she was awesome, helpful, and extremely friendly! I really appreciate that they are understanding of their employees that can't make it in to work with bad weather, and are willing to roll with the punches. Trivia was a blast, and it seemed like everyone in there were friends and so welcoming. The food was delicious! I really appreciate the warm atmosphere, and friendly faces!

We had the most delicious meal last night at Stone's Throw Cafe. I had the house brisket with Carolina Gold barbecue sauce. The flavors were incredible.😋 My son had the brisket delicious sandwich. This sandwich was so big he could only eat half. We also had curry fries and the Mediterranean soup both make your mouth water. I can't recommend Stone Throw enough. Best restaurant in town.

Loved it! The boss noticed my cool Ice cube shirt the first time I went by and overall I just enjoyed the food. I also loved that they had hot Cheetos for the chip options, which is something you don't see often in Morris!

Had a great BLT for lunch! Absolutely love adding the curry fries.

Visiting family in the area we met friends here for lunch. Patty melt was delicious. Others had BLTs and brisket sandwiches. We all really enjoyed our meals. Would recommend it if you’re in the area. Friendly staff who make you feel welcome. If I was local this would be a place I’d frequent.

Great food with a variety of options! Servers were friendly and atmosphere was very relaxed. Did take a while to get our food, but we also weren't in a rush.
