Osteria Cucina Rustica

Everything about this place is perfect! The service was incredible. They left no attention to detail untouched. Our food was totally delicious! The ambience outside and inside was perfection. Tonight, I celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary here and I could not have picked a better place!

Osteria was one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. The food was phenomenal, the service was great, and the atmosphere reminded me of being in Tuscany. We had the Carpaccio appetizer, Lobster Gnocchi, and Stuffed Bronzini and would highly recommend all these dishes! The only constructive feedback is it was very noisy and the tables are very close together so you could not have a private conversation and the waiters kept hitting my chair. However, this would not stop us from returning for the incredible food!

My girlfriend and I dined here last week to celebrate her job promotion and we had an amazing experience. I usually do not dine out at Italian restaurants because I love a home cooked Italian meal, but Osteria may have changed my mind. Everything from start to finish was absolutely delicious. Shout out to our server, Jonathan for making our night extra special. His recommendations and hospitality were both spot on. Thank you! I can’t wait to come back.

I’m from Staten Island so I’ve been to many Italian restaurants, this was by far the best. Firstly, the waiter—I believe his name was Bruno—was the best you can get out of a waiter. Fun, personable, and quick. Probably the best service we received in a while. The food was excellent. I ordered the Sea Bass and it almost melted in your mouth. It was cooked to perfection. Another member of my party ordered the Porter House, which was also cooked very well. The appetizers were delicious. I highly recommend the crab meat and octopus. All of the sides were great such as the black rice. I totally loved everything about this place including the environment, which was perfectly lit. I totally expect to come back soon with family and friends. I’m also looking forward to ordering the Tomahawk next time. Thank you all!

I had a nice group dinner here with some excellent, real Italian food. We had the stuffed pepper special which was good and the lobster gnocchi special which was just about perfect. I had the ravioli and they were amazing, but couldn't tell if it was served with real guanciale or just thick bacon. Either way it was very good.

Each flavor of the gelato was pretty good but it seemed more like standard ice cream to me. Be careful, each order comes with 3 big scoops.

The service was fine and it wasn't very noisy in the corner we were in. It's definitely pricey here but probably worth it for the food. Overall I would definitely recommend this place.

We also had a weird dress code issue. Apparently patrons can't wear baseball caps in the dining area, but servers were able to wear caps as they served in the dining area.

We had our yearly office dinner here on Saturday night. We booked a private room. Our server was Julio. Julio is very professional, courteous, friendly and on top of his game. He made sure our glasses were always full and he checked throughout to make sure we wanted for nothing. Julio and his team did a terrific job to ensure a great experience. The food was delicious and plenty. Thank you Julio and team for a job well done.

What can I say, the place is lively, upbeat and fun.
Staff are the same. And on point.
The owner came to our table which is always nice. He made us feel welcome and was appreciative of our business.
Food was so exceptional, apps. We're different and delicious.
Main course was also exceptional.

Been in Marlboro for 12 yrs and never got a chance to eat here. Finally tried it for date night. We went there at 8pm on a Saturday and place was packed. Water and bread came in promptly, the garlic oil n crispy zucchini was good. We skipped the drinks and order the octopus, garganelli, fuoco pizza w/ sausage n bronzini.
The octopus with mashed potatoes was 💣, octopus was delicious n crisp, potatoes were legit. Pizza was nice n creamy with the fresh mutzadel n peppers, watch out the spice level is insane so order this pizza only if u can handle 🌶. The pasta was awesome with the creamy white sauce n peas and saltiness from the prosciutto. The bronzini was perfectly cooked with a capers based sauce n lentils. The lentils were cooked perfectly n well seasoned.
What a great meal and left extremely satisfied. I have eaten at many Italian spots and this has got to be top 5 spot. Great food great service (John) great time. 🇮🇹❤🔥🌶

First timer! Took my cousin here for her 40th birthday. What a phenomenal experience. They did not skimp on alcohol with the one drink I ordered. It was like having two in one. The baked clams appetizer was phenomenal and the sauce was perfectly made. AMAZING flavors. My cousin and I def. said it was best baked clams we have ever had. After I ordered the special halibut (see pics) and she got the shrimp and risotto. WOW, I left nothing on my plate. She had to box half hers b/c the shrimp were huge and they gave a lot of risotto. Afterwards we were told by our awesome waiter to go check out the other room for a Christmas surprise. They had a life size Elf on the Shelf and smores! Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Beautifully decorated for Christmas too.

Had an amazing dinner here, our server Mark was excellent. The food was incredible, instantly transported us back to Naples Italy. The quality of ingredients here stands out, the olive oil, cheese, tomatoes, everything was beyond amazing. I saw other reviews mentioned the place was loud, well ya, when the place is so good, its bound to get packed out. If you don't like it, order takeout from a pizzeria and enjoy your Saturday night dinner at home like a loser. If you want to enjoy authentic Italian food in a lively and welcoming environment, this is the place.

Was my first time going, was celebrating my Grandson acceptance to Monmouth University !!, we were a total of (6) with a variety of selections to choose from, for myself I had Sea Bass over black rice, it was cooked perfect !!, my wife had Shrimp and Scallops over pasta no complaints !!, we had Mixed Drinks finally found one I liked, we all had Nutella Pizza & Coffee, all in all it was a perfect celebration, in closing I heard about this place by word of mouth, as the person that recommended "Osteria Cucina Rustica", You Can't Go Wrong !!!, I'll make my way back again. $$$$

After relocating, we dined here last night for the first time in a while, and it was a remarkable experience. Exceptional service, a superbly made Old Fashioned, and a perfectly cooked Veal Milanese made our evening unforgettable. I highly suggest giving this place a try.

I celebrated my birthday dinner with a few friends. The chef's special of black rice with sea bass was quite delicious. Quite a collection of fine wine. Great restaurant, please reserve a table before you go.

Friendly staff and open late, which is a nice plus. Food was quality and tasted good. Definitely recommend Osteria for great Italian food

Went here for a Christmas party. The food was excellent and so was the service! Small issue, little bit noisy. Definitely worth going for great food!

First time visiting Osteria and was certainly not disappointed. Waiter we had was excellent and recommended the Porter house for 2 which was phenomenal. My wife also had the bone in veal Milanese and mentioned it was one of the best she has ever had. This restaurant will one we frequent with friends and family.

Everything about this place is top notch. From professional servers and super accommodating owners and management — to some of the most delicious food my girlfriend and I have had out, this place is def a must try if you haven’t been. Would give it 100 stars if i could! Can’t wait til they have the patio open in the summer!

One of my favorite places to frequent. While I often sit at the bar, I have also enjoyed the dining room - both having been equally enjoyable experiences. From the moment the hostess greets you upon entry, to the moment you walk out the door, Osteria treats their customers like family. The staff is lovely, they have a wonderful cocktail/wine selection, the food is unmatchable and the owners are hands on. Overall, highly recommend.
