Pennington Bagel

A great local bagel shop with a wide array of classic, out-of-the-box, and seasonal flavors. Above all, however, is their delicious bagel quality. We assessed the quality of their Plain Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese to other local bagel shops, and they came out on top due to their incredible texture and flavor. Service is timely and welcoming, while the food is inexpensive. Would highly recommend.

I ordered a turkey sandwich on a plain bagel, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and bacon.
It came with coleslaw and pickles. I also got kettle cooked sea salt chips and got a raspberry Snapple iced tea. I must say the sandwich was incredibly delicious. I’m pretty sure they make their own coleslaw and it was perfect. Not sure what kind of pickles they use, but they were better than your average pickle. And not spears. All the ingredients tasted very fresh, Including the turkey. And for some reason everything didn’t slide out when I took a bite into the sandwich. Although it was Sunday at 1:30 PM, I barely waited 2 minutes. I think they do a great job over there and I will definitely be back.

I really like their lunch sandwich combos but it is a bit disappointing they use the like egg patties rather than fresh eggs for their breakfast sandwiches. Haven't tried their soups yet but they have a rotating selection and always sound good. Easily on par with the other bagel shops in the area.

This is our favorite bagel spot in the area! I love this place OMG. Little expensive about $35 every time we go because we get French toast bagel sandwiches lol but worth it!! This is our spot for bagels though. Go after 8:35 and will just miss the crown…before 8 you can get there before the crowd lol

Every community needs a bagel place like this. Beautiful and delicious bagels, all the right toppings (egg salad was my choice) and the coffee is self-serve, just the way it should be. Very clean and very cozy to hang out and enjoy some food. If I lived in the area, I’d be here all the time.

Hats off to this little bagel shop hidden in the corner of a Shopping Center in Pennington New Jersey. I have not had such a high-quality perfect bagel in a very long time. I didn’t think that they existed anymore. I am extremely excited and satisfied with my everything bagel with butter this morning and my large, dark roast coffee, I drive a tractor trailer for a living and see many towns and many bagel places and this one holds the number one spot in my eyes and I will be back and highly recommend. If you are looking for a high-quality authentic old-school style bagels, check them out and I salute the bakers who make these bagels every morning.Your love and passion is shown through your bagels. I had the best bacon, egg and cheese of my life just now

Great service the young lady that took my order was very nice! She’s always there and always respectful to the customers, food was great! Bagels are hot and fresh get there early (7-730) and you will get a steaming hot bagel yum!!! Can’t wait to come back

Love their bagels but I think I was overcharged for a breakfast sandwich. Over $9 for turkey bacon, egg & cheese.

My fiancé and I stopped in for breakfast this morning and I'm so happy that we did! I got the sugared blueberry bagel with cinnamon raisin walnut cream cheese and my fiancé got an everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese on it, the bagels were fresh and so flavorful!!! I will definitely be back!!

Best bagels in the area hands down. The bagels have that little bit of crispness on the exterior and the perfect check in the dough for the center. The sandwiches are excellent. They have so many great combo options. If ordering online order early. Going at popular times there can be a line but it is always worth the wait.

Excellent bagels here—very nice and helpful staff as well! I particularly liked the egg everything bagel, very tasty! My girlfriend got the cinnamon sugar bagel, which was also quite, quite good. Will definitely return if I am in the area again.

The bagels here are really good, and they often have specials after 1pm for bulk bagel buying. You can get different sandwich bagels and party platters as well. I love coming here when I pass through the area. My favourite are the cinnamon raisin bagels. I do have to say, the bagels don't freeze that well. The staff are on the ruder side, but that tends to be the case at a lot of good bagel shops, so I guess it's just part of the experience.

Great place. Fast and friendly service. Menu board looks cluttered with two types of prices. Just use the Cc price for everything and save yourself the time. Some people might see it as they are getting taken for if paying with Cc. This place is a must visit.

My absolute favorite bagel place. I've tried many bagel places in this area and nearby towns and their bagels are always so good and fresh. Chicken salad is my go-to and the #14 is good as well. They get busy but the line moves really quickly and the staff is friendly. It's a little on the pricier side for bagel sandwiches but it's worth it. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

What more can you ask for than FRESH, homemade Bagels. Best bagels around with a huge selection. The egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is delicious. I love the chicken salad too. They have a friendly staff and excellent customer service. I highly recommend Pennington Bagel.

It is THE best bagel I have ever tasted. We were driving on NJ 31 on our way back to Canada. My wife was bugging me to stop for breakfast. We saw an unassuming signboard on a strip mall that said 'P. Bagel'. In normal circumstances I would not stop. But just shut her up, I stopped and told my wife to get her breakfast. She brought 2 kinds of bagel with cream cheese. Boy was it good!!!. Just right amount of crunchy outside and perfectly cooked inside just made for their homemade cream cheese. I loved every bite of that bagel. I didn't get a chance to go back to buy some more as we were running late and almost 10 miles from Pennington Bagel. But I would certainly go back and enjoy their bagel, if I ever have a chance to be around Pennington / NJ31.

Best bagel sandwich #6 and an avocado, chicken breast with cranberries, lettuce and tomato on toasted rye was excellent. The coleslaw was good and my bf loved the pickles. Shop was clean, staff was super!! I will definitely stop in again when I’m in town.

They got my order correct which was good. However the egg on my sandwich was not very good. It’s an egg patty like what you can get on a frozen breakfast sandwich. Eggs should be cooked a griddle. However the bagels are very good. Get the cinnamon sugar with the cinnamon sugar spread, it’s very good.
