Spent a few hours taking the guided tour and learned quite a bit of the history of the family dating back to the American revolution. The rooms contain a lot of original furniture and other artifacts. Volunteers maintain a large flower garden that has a variety of perennials.

This is an amazing and beautiful place! The Bicentennial Anniversary celebration was entertaining, informative and SO much fun. Thank you to Sandra Roberts and all the staff and to the Constable descendants for making Constable Hall such a wonderful experience.

It’s difficult for me to put into words what a gem Constable Hall truly is. A remarkable collection lovingly preserved by special people. I’ve been to many museums/homes of early Americans and what make Constable Hall stand out is the very large number of items that are original to the home, including Marie Antoinette’s sewing basket and a paper weight given to a Constable by his lawyer-Alexander Hamilton!
