Hamilton's Body Shop

Went to them awhile back when I had an accident and they fixed my truck in a timely manner. Took care of everything and more. I recently had a problem with my window and they took care of it super quick no problems. They are what makes small businesses what they are.

Rich repaired our E Bike rack which we had bumped on a tree and bent. Graciously they declined payment. I gave him a twenty to buy lunch. Always good to find nice people willing to help out a stranger. I would give them my business! Cheryl and Steve

Hamilton's has done awesome work on my 2008 Toyota Camry :-) Owner is very professional and understanding of the customer's needs. They do great work and for a good price! The owner is honest, I am female and take my car for repairs on my own (which can be intimidating)... I always feel comfortable at Hamilton's - have always received quality work at this body shop and for a fair price.

In order for me to write a good review, you really have to wow me. Hamilton's Body Shop delivers ! For over 18 years , I have been on the road for my job, and an accident here and there is par for the course. That being said, I have had experiences with other body shops and I just wanted to say that Hamilton's is tops . It was nice to stop into the shop and meet and deal directly with the owner to discuss any issues with the car . The work done on the my car was superb and the turn around was exceptionally fast. Thank you Mr. Hamilton .

Great job on repairing my 2017 Camry, injured at 10 days old. Very friendly, and Tom's a man of his word, "The car doesn't leave the shop till it's perfect." You and your staff are very accommodating to the customer's needs. Thanks for a superior job. I highly recommend you for anyone's repair needs.

Tom & Co. did a terrific job on my front end body work, major suspension repairs and a number of ancillary items now 8 months and 9,000 miles in the rear view mirror after driving my 2014 Toyota Sienna into a ditch and over a tree stump.

No problems at all to date, drives well, with the aftermarket parts Tom ordered as required by the insurance company on this 5 year old vehicle. The body panel seams are near perfect, maybe a 1/32" off in a couple of spots. The paint match and blending into undamaged panels is excellent. Even the new hood is more heavy duty than the flimsy OEM Toyota part.

The work was done in 3 weeks to the day as Tom had originally estimated. Forgive me for thinking, "Oh, sure, it'll be 5 weeks." That was an especially pleasant surprise since my auto rental cost was out-of-pocket.

This accident and repair occurred 250 miles from home. I imagine some shops might exploit the situation, dragging feet or cutting corners given they'd likely never see me again or risk me spreading some bad local work-of-mouth. That's not Tom.

The only complaint I have is with the wheel alignment, which was outsourced to the local Toyota dealer. It wasn't until I was well on may home after picking up the repaired vehicle that I noticed the steering wheel was off meaningfully off-center. Once home I paid $100 for a second alignment that straighted things out. In comparing the alignment specs from Toyota of Watertown to those from the second shop, I can only conclude that the Watertown shop alligned to the wrong specs and then didn't notice the steering wheel being off center.

Given the range of potential outcomes with a semi-major $6,000 collision repair, that extra $100 does not cause me knock the rating down from 5 stars.

Maybe I should write a review for Toyota of Watertown with the appropriate 1 star.

Please make sure you give them a call when they say it may be done or in because they will not call you back when they are done or have the part. Also, please be aware that this place is old school and only does cash or check NO cards of any kind. I had to go to atm down the road and make a few transactions to get the money out since Ive never had to write a check. The work was great but I’m pretty sure I could have had my car done weeks ago if they called back when things came in and my car was ready.
