Lover's Sushi & Hibachi

Amazing service. Very friendly staff. Food was absolutely amazing. The kids chicken hibachi was so tasty and very juicy. The clear soup was delicious. And sushi was very fresh and had an amazing presentation. Definitely going back 👌🏾👌🏾

This restaurant is extraordinary, calming and has mouth watering meals that are also beautiful. Wonderful service, great staff and heart warming as well. I loved the Hibachi steak and shrimp meal, I shared with my fiancée and we shared the sushi. The sushi is huge! The one waitress was so kind and generous, I appreciate the hospitality greatly ❤

Had vegetable rolls for the first time tonight, so great and fresh even at 9:30pm. The woman who attended my online order was very sweet and respectful. They've earned my continued business.

Stopped in for dinner tonight. Easy parking out back, big sign so you know where to go. Food was amazing, definitely going to stop back for Hibachi with my daughter as she also loves sushi. All food was very fresh

Top marks across the board are well deserved. The custom decorative accents for each sushi plate were not expected, but heightened the dining experience. Dishes have flavor on top of the flair to be one of the best hidden gem sushi restaurants. Service would be on par with Japanese politeness you typically do not experience stateside. General vibe of the dining area was calm and relaxing, creative accenting with lights and wall decorations.

Today we visited Miss Kate as we often do. Ordered steak hibachi and it just tasted, different to me. This is something I regularly order and it was just “off”. Couldn’t explain why.
Miss Kate noticed I hadn’t eaten much of my plate and asked if it was okay.
I mentioned that I wasn't going to say anything but it was just different today and not my favorite. But that I would absolutely pay for it, and to please not take it off my bill. Miss Kate apologized numerous times and didn’t hesitate to immediately remove my meal from the bill. Completely unnecessary but non the less appreciated. Needless to say I then left her a very gracious tip. Service and kindness goes such a long way, and mistakes can happen. We should all just give each other more grace. Miss Kate made my day with her kind gesture. Will of course be coming back.

Such great sushi! I had the dinosaur roll and it was very filling. My husband ordered various sushi. We both loved it. Everything is very reasonably priced! They also have poke bowls and ramen, but I haven't had those. The atmosphere is relaxed and the wait staff is so amazing.

Hands down the best sushi in the area. I'm a fan of the Sweet Heart and Godzilla roll. The chicken in the chicken hibachi dinner is tender, not dry like other places.

Service is very slow 🐌 because it is a family business and one woman serving all tables, so expect to spend some time visiting. That being said, if you have the time to spend, the food is excellent and the prices are very fair. I definitely recommend it.

The restaurant was packed tonight which meant a little bit longer than normal wait but when I tell you the food is WELL worth the wait I mean it! Fish was fresh and delicious. All ingredients were high quality! Staff was very friendly! The place was clean! We will definitely be back!

This is hands down the best restaurant in Broome county. My partner and I go here about once a month - every time we try somewhere else we always regret wasting our money... you get so much quality food at a super affordable price. Our bill is nearly always under $50, and we usually get 3 special rolls. We always get the Lovers roll, it's the best! Highly recommend it if you love sushi, it's a really nice date spot, the service is great and the presentation for the rolls is always beautiful.

Absolutely amazing sushi and service. I got three rolls that had nice hearty pieces.The sashimi is so affordable, has more than a dozen slices, and tastes clean. I have no idea how this place isn't more crowded because it's a gem. Even the decorations on each plate are so well-executed.

For $80 I got three specialty sushi rolls and an 18pc sashimi dinner, and I was stuffed. I highly recommend the Golden Salmon roll that had seared salmon. It has a lovely smokey flavor and just enough eel sauce. The Godzilla roll was a bit chewy for me but had great flavor. The Iso-Maki roll was fresh with an avocado interior but definitely needs to be dipped in the ponzu they provide.

Service was polite and timely. The interior felt very homey and inviting with all the bright colors and soft, pleasant Japanese music. They also give you an entire can of soda instead of giving you a watered down glass like other places! I'm definitely coming back here.

The best Japanese restaurant in Binghamton & one of the best in all of New York. I was a little worried initially about this small sushi place in the tiny town of Endicott but wow was I blown away. Japanese & sushi & sashimi are probably my favorite foods & this place is amazing! It's a very small restaurant but amazingly clean & cute & the staff from the waitress to the Sushi chefs are all amazing! Quality, freshness & presentation are all absolutely top notch! The lunch menu value is absolutely incredible. You can get a lunch box with delicious chicken teriyaki, steamed rice, dumplings, & any sushi roll you like & a soup or salad all for $12 bucks! That's McDonald's prices for a gorgeous gourmet meal. Dinner prices are more expensive but trust me. You can't go wrong with this restaurant - it's fantastic!

I can't recommend this place enough. This place is definitely a hidden gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is really nice inside. (seriously, I wondered if you could even eat inside from the looks of the outside of the building that sits next to the Adult "Bookstore" lol )..... but trust me....you can walk in the back door and there is a really nice sushi restaurant.
The service was absolutely phenomenal the whole time. Definitely coming back.

Hidden gem! Doesn't look like anything special on the outside, but boy oh boy, if you like real Schezwan food this is it. We had the Pork Blood in Chili Sauce, Crazy Chicken Wings, Cauliflower in Spicy Dry pot. I was actually shocked when I had it. Never expected anything like this to be around here. So happy, and thank you to the chef. Wonderful food and wonderful service. Atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Generous portions. All around great. A must try for anyone looking to escape the Americanized "Chinese" food you normally get.

I took my sister here for her birthday because of her love for sushi and I was really impressed with the presentation of the dishes. The food is really good. I also ordered the seafood ramen. The waitress gave awesome service and even brought out green tea mochi ice cream for my sister. I would definitely come here again.

I know what you’re thinking - how can the best sushi restaurant in the area be on Washington Ave? Truth be told, I’m ashamed I haven’t gone here earlier. What turned into a curiosity visit became 4 visits in the span of 2 weeks. After years of overpriced and underperforming Wegmans sushi, and expensive Kampai sushi, this place is truly the best blend of price and quality. Heavy on quality. The staff are so professional, and Kay is such a great host. What would I recommend on the menu? Everything.

The servers are so courteous and knowledgable. My first time here I came for lunch and ordered 3 rolls. These were not lunch sized rolls and were worth the price! A soup or salad is included in the price, I chose the salad which was delicious. It also had a beautiful presentation! The place is so clean and welcoming. I will recommend this place to others and come back!

literally the best sushi/hibachi place around.
do NOT go if you want to be in and out. go if you want the experience and some of the most phenomenal food in the area. I would wait for hours for a teriyaki dinner or hibachi. I would eat it even if someone spit in it. I would eat it off the floor. I would make massive sacrifices for this food. I usually order two dinners just so I can bring some home. You won’t be disappointed!
