AJ’S Sushi & Cajun Seafood

I believe it's excellent! The all-you-can-eat option at a reasonable price allows you to sample a variety of dishes, despite the smaller plate sizes. This is beneficial as it enables you to try different foods before feeling full on a single item. However, a drawback is the 3.5% card fee charged after checking out.

Sushi was fresh and delicious. Nothing exotic, but have some creative rolls available. Service was prompt and attentive - our teacups and water glasses were refilled often, and Sushi orders were delivered quickly!

Wow, this place is amazing. I honestly didn’t have super high expectations for an AYCE sushi place, but this place blew me away.

The fish was fresh. The appetizers were amazing and the service was great.

Most impressively was the attention to detail. I ordered the BBQ squid and it was l grilled. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Great experience here. The service and staff are very nice, and the food came very quickly. The food tasted very good, a lot better than other restaurants. The sushi was very fresh. 10/10, would definitely come back again.

AJ’s Sushi is my favorite! BYOB and all you can eat… what can beat that?? Sushi is extremely fresh and delicious. Staff is very nice. Restaurant is clean and all tables are well spaced. Highly recommend!

One of the best ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI & JAPANESE ENTREE Restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Luckily Rockland is home to both of my favorites. Sushi choices were varied and delicious from simple sushi rolls & sashimi to specialty roll choices. Every entree is made to order. Presentation was quite appetizing as you can see in the photos. Only drawbacks, I was not impressed with the taste of the chicken or beef skewers and the udon noodle was sadly flavorless water. The Seafood and seaweed salad was another delicious treat. They made my other Rockland choice edge ahead in choice but A.J.'S was still ONE of my favorites. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Cleanliness was good.

It is a treasure to have AJs in our neighborhood. Groups and families meet and enjoy their times here. Friendly staff and great food choices They support the school teams.

Really good, and it’s ayce so the price is also really good. Honestly a great experience. Fish was fresh, sashimi cuts were well portioned. Sushi had good fish to rice ratio. Rolls were high quality. Apps were all very good - not over fried. Seaweed salad was very fresh and tasty.

Honestly the only thing I didn’t love was the bbq squid. I felt it was overly chewy and left something to be desired, but YMMV. Fried calamari was on point tho.

Overall this was really good and I will come here many more times. Amazing value for money and the food is delicious.

I liked it here at AJ’s. The ambiance and the service was everything. I usually go to No.1 Sushi and honestly they both taste pretty much the same, so that’s good. I will definitely be coming back.

Picked this place randomly to have dinner with my coworker and was absolutely pleased with my decision. Exceptionally clean and inviting. A cool getaway from the heat outside. Sushi was right on point and presentation was very good. Very pleasant staff eager to assist with a smile. Nice music with just the right volume to hear your conversation. The entire crowd was very respectful with just the right balance of courtesy. I will definitely revisit this location.

The food is great and the service is very good. Jimmy is very attentive. He makes sure my family and I are well taken care of.

I haven’t had good sushi in so long being in the east coast (from vegas) but omg. So good. The tuna sashimi and BBQ squid are to die for. Also, the Hibachi beef is perfect, you can taste the fat and it’s so yummy. 10/10 recommend. The staff are also so professional and fast. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

I've been going here for several years now and the food has been consistently good. I always select the all you can eat option (I believe it's $27 weekends and $26 weekdays). The sushi is fresh, rolls are not overly packed with rice to fill you up, and they have some unique rolls. Overall it's a good deal.

Keep in mind they add a 3.5% credit card fee so bring cash. Make sure to eat everything that you order or you'll be charged for leftovers.

Im a student of The CIA and coming from a place that studies food, this is good! Their Miso Soup was filled with flavor. I tried the Spider, Lion, and Eel Avacado Roll...all delicious. They gave us ice cream on the house, the service was great.

Enjoyed a nice sushi lunch here. I liked the selection of small "kitchen" dishes as well as sashimi/sushi for the all you can eat. The service is also really good and prompt. Would return.

Good sushi 🍣 and sashimi!! I don't like yaki soba noodles there tho.

Very nice staff and quick service. Only thing is if you want wings it takes at least 15 minds to make. Order that 1st when you get there.
