Hillside Diner

Found this gem on Google when finding a place to eat on our way home from camping. So glad we stopped. My bacon cheeseburger was delicious. This place has such a homey feel and the owner is such a sweet lady! I would 100 percent recommend this place and I'll be definitely coming back when I pass through again.

We had driven right by this outpost several times and scarcely noticed it. When we finally noticed it and stopped in -- wow! Great food and very friendly service. I forgot my glasses on the table after a delicious breakfast, and the owner came charging out of the diner to return them to me! Five stars!

What a hidden gem! If you want to go, go soon as the owner mentioned closing and retirement. The pies are homemade and are delish! The prices extremely affordable and the portions huge. Home cooking at its best. Non descript outside but the food and service exceptional. 🍽🥧

This year it was closed so we stopped at the Hillside diner this year, glad we did. Incredible food, incredible service and prices. Hats off to the management and employees. It's worth the trip!!

On the way to a family reunion in Malone, NY, we came to this diner around breakfast time on a Friday. What a fantastic find! The prices were unbelievable. The food was incredible. When the waitress mentioned raisin toast, all three of us ordered it. Homemade, thick slices of heaven! If you’re in the area (maybe headed into Canada), be sure to go here! It’s clean, all homemade and the owners obviously work there a lot! She makes all the pies, probably on Monday and Tuesday when they are closed. We weren’t successful in getting the raisin bread recipe. 😕

The Hillside is a great stop to power up for whatever adventure you're on. It is a family atmosphere and the service is outstanding. I have to mention the desserts! Biggest selection of pies ever and if they have the Chocolate-coconut cake you should get a piece to go!😁

Stop in on our travels. We're not upset. Very homey feel. Great owner. Loved it, loved the food. A must stop if your looking for a home cooked meal♥

Excellent food, best people, and just a great place to eat

This was one of the best diners I have ever been to. Their french toast was better than my grandmothers. The waitress/owner was super friendly, warm, and welcoming.

It is a very pleasant place to eat. It feels like you are at home in your own dining room. The service is wonderful and you never leave hungry. You get your money's worth
