Las Trancas Mexican Restaurant - Marietta

Im not Mexican food expert. Far from that. To be exact,,I never tried mexican restaurant before,,lol. That afternoon I rode my motorbike around South Side and my eyes was hooked by nice building on the side of the road. I decided to stop by and greeted by nice gentleman. Make long story short I ordered California Fish Taco and Tamales. 1 word,,,WOW. It was good. Waitress also excellent. She explained to me slowly to make sure I understand what I ordered.
Definitely I will be back next time

The food was very good. Their chips were warm and crispy and the salsa was pretty tasty. My shrimp dish was delicious. My Bf enjoyed his dinner and huge margarita as well. The service was nice and there is plenty of seating.

Always super quick, friendly service. I have tried many dishes here and they are all great. Place is always clean. Good prices for good food. I would recommend anything on the menu.

This place was awesome. I was out of town for work and figured lets try it. I was very pleased with service and the food was amazing. I got the diablo burrito and it was delicious. They also know how to pour a drink for the working man. Lol. Highly recommend this place!!!

It was hands down a wonderful place with great food, wonderful, professional staff, the waiter was genuine and very hospitable. Vallarta. Fresh vegetables squash zucchini, cauliflower, so many shrimp cooked perfectly. There's not much more to say about this dish because it was fantastic. I cannot wait to go back.

We stopped here once before a year ago. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal then. We decided to stop again. Again it did not disappoint us. The food and plates come out so hot the waiters wear oven mitts. Homemade tortilla chips and salsa to start.
They also have a vegetarian menu, children's menu. Great prices also.

We have eaten there many times, including holidays. They always seat you right away, chips and salsa come right out, the portions are large, food is excellent. They even fix a dish for each of us that is not on the menu. It is very reasonable and had always been great. Service is friendly and quick.

My vote for the best Mexican food in town! Coming from Columbus, I never did find any place there that could compete with Las Trancas. The salsa alone is enough to recommend eating here. It is just the right balance- not too thick and chunky, not too thin and watery; not too hot and spicy, not too mild and bland. I have tried something different every time e we go here, and I still haven’t found anything I don’t love!

You pretty much know it must be a good place to eat when you pull in and the parking lot is jammed. Then you open the door and the dining room is packed wall to wall, but the hostess is able to seat you immediately! Our waiter was very pleasant and helped select our meals. The margaritas were made well and tasty and the chips and salsa were plentiful. Our food arrived quickly and hot and was very tasty. I had the chimichangas which were scrumptious and the wife had a chili relleno which she loved. Would definitely return here the next time I pass through.
4/15/22 - Still one of the reasons why I stop here on my trek back from FL every year. Great Mexican food & margaritas and friendly staff!
4/16/24: Well, I've now visited here more than I have Wally World in Florida! Still great food and service! There are multiple locations around the Ohio River Valley in OH and WV.

We eat there often. Always tops on all counts. Best Marguerite's,,, excellent!

Excellent chips n salsa... the food and service was very good also.. Willl be back to try their ritas.. Located in a shopping center, so plenty of parking spaces.

Absolutely the most delicious Mexican food I've had so far. Highly recommend the quesadilla. Strong drinks. But not necessarily a bad thing to me
