The food was excellent, and the service was awesome. We were served quickly, and our coffee cups were kept full. Staff was able to provide me options for items that were available to address my celiac. Food tasted good and was served hot. Good job by all.

My cousin took me here for lunch. I love the old fashioned (50-60's) diner atmosphere. I had a Monte Cristo and onion rings. It was delicious onion rings were nice and crisp. The portion sizes were good. Neither one of us could clean our plates....lol The service was excellent!!! The ladies there were so nice and took good care of us, refilling our coffee and asked if we needed anything. To full for dessert but, maybe next time. Will definitely go here again.

Friendly staff and good food for reasonable price .

Great place to have a bite to eat. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or just Dessert. Food is very good, served promptly and prices are reasonable. You always receive a large serving. Waitresses are pleasant. Everyday they have specials too. Check it out! Located on Main St Norwood NY

Great family dinning at very reasonable prices. Clean, cozy, atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Food is great and the desserts are out of this world great! Ice- cream is the absolute best anywhere in the North Country! Love dinning here! Just a wonderful family dinner, the name is perfect! Home town cafe is the best!

We really enjoyed the Hometown Café. The staff is friendly and accommodating, eager to insure that each member of our party got exactly what they wanted. Preparation was good, refills appeared without asking. Seeing neighbors greeting neighbors in this clean, friendly cafe is a true bit of Americana.

Excellent meal as always. I know liver is not the meal for everyone, but if you are a fan of liver with bacon and / or onions then this is a great plate. Large plate with potatoes, veggie, gravy. Liver smothered in bacon and onions.

Prices are truly inexpensive, food quality you'd expect from a local diner, all was very good, fresh and prepared perfectly. Service was fast and friendly, defiently a good choice if you're in the area.

Awesome food . very good prices

I'm working just down the road from hometown,and they have the best food for the best price. I suggest the macaroni and beef soup. It may be the best I've ever had.and they had real Turkey for there hot Turkey sandwich.

I had a great experience here. Cozy all American hole in the wall feeling. The food was good, and prices are low. I've been here twice, and wouldn't hesitate to go again. By the way, they didn't pay or ask me to post this. I was just very pleased with my experience here.

Good food, good people. Very local feel here. Sometimes they get way too busy, especially at the lunch and dinner times, but it's because the food is so good and it's one of the best diners in the area!

Great cafe! Reminds me of the one I used to qo to with my grandfather. I love it there. The staff is amazing! Update, still awesome!
