Ming's Garden

Very sweet and understanding, great food
So we came in around close time since Mekong wanted to close earlier and refused to serve us. Ming’s was happy to take in our order and our food was prepared quickly and was delicious.
I get a little nervous being a vegetarian and peeping some Chinese restaurant menus because there often aren’t a ton of options for me, but I had the mixed vegetables and tofu with brown sauce and it was fresh veggies and very tasty! Also you cannot beat the prices here, great option for dinner after having fun at great wolf or kalihari :)

Excellent take out Chinese food ! Super friendly staff and fast service. We were visiting the Great Wolf Lodge right up the street . Not salty tasting just the right amount of seasoning. The inside of place is nothing fancy but as long as the food is good . I totally recommend!

Small restaurant with no servers because they have a hard time getting good help. Very friendly and the food is fantastic! Worth the negatives of no servers. We will be back!

this place has got the best, freshest Chinese Cuisine you’ll get within a 40 mile radius of this town. It’s soo good. I literally order here every week. And the management is so pleasant. Panda Express could never.

So we went there the Saturday before last, but I've been meaning to make this review and think about them a lot. We placed our order a little late, but they held on to it for us for a little bit after we got held up. A whole like 45 min later, haha. But even after that time, oh my gosh, the food was so good. The tempura AND the flour breading both held up amazingly after all that time and the sauces were just sooo good <3 My partner is in love with their food, and we're excited to go back when we're in Sandusky again soon.

Great food at good prices 😋

Just a great place to visit when in Sandusky.. Not many places in that tourist town have friendly employees anymore but this place does! They care about the food they serve you and it shows in how delicious it is each and every time!! I've been there quite a few times in the past 15yrs and since I live around here not just visiting the area, I can give an honest review about my service and the food. Summer months they are busier (obviously) so your wait times are going to be longer but the food and service do not suffer because of that. Take that time to put your phones down and actually enjoy the persons company that you're dinning with.

Got the General Tso's chicken for myself, my partner got the chicken mei fun. Oh my god. Just absolutely fantastic. My one major complaint used to be the thinness of the sauce, but I asked for them to thicken it out this time and it is just so incredibly perfect. Just right. A nice level of spice for General Tso, nothing crazy, but it has such depth of flavor. Not too sweet, wonderfully savory. The breading on the chicken is fantastic and even after a 20 minute drive home, it was still so crispy, with such a tender inside.

The mei fun's chicken was also crazy tender, brought to a perfect temp while cooking that shows genuine skill in the kitchen. The noodles had that desirable soft, almost stretchy bite to them, and a smooth, savory gentle flavor.

The only thing that could see improvement here was the fried rice, yet that was still better than any other place's in the tri-county area. If they ever wanted tips on simple (and cheap) ways to elevate their fried rice, I'd happily oblige, though they still sit on a bar above every other place's around here as is. My specialty is a very specific kind of fried rice.

Whoever cooked our food has more talent than the majority of the area, I don't think you're getting any competition til Cleveland or Toledo

And of course, the host/wait staff are so helpful, nice and sweet as always.

Tl/dr; best Asian food for 3 counties excluding private chefs.

Food was very good, with a generous portion, and it came fast. Note that the restaurant is take out only as of the time this review is being composed. I will be back here on future trips to Cedar Point.

I love a restaurant that has good ambiance. Not sure why, but I do. I like to feel like I am eating someplace special. And Ming's Garden does that. While some might disagree, I can always count on a good meal, with traditional Chinese music playing, in a quaint restaurant. I typically get their soup, crab rangoon, and a chicken dish. And they are all delicious. I love their crab rangoon. So light and airy, yet crispy. Their lunch portions are a little on the small side, but soup, appetizer and meal are all very filling.

If you are staying at Cedar Point, take the 10 minute drive to Ming's Garden!! The food was spectacular! Best General Tso's chicken my husband ever had. The chicken fried rice was delicious and you get a good helping of food. The prices were great especially when you are tired of paying Cedar Point prices. The food came out quickly and the staff was wonderful. You won't be disappointed.

I am an out of towner here for a conference and decided to grab a bite at Ming's Garden. What a wonderful little gem of a place! The staff was so friendly and kind and service was wicked fast. I had the orange chicken and fried rice combo and everything was seasoned perfectly and absolutely delicious. I'm sad I don't live here because it was the best Chinese food I've had in a long long time!

Was on vacation from Indiana and wanted Chinese food with my family. Close to our hotel, we saw the reviews and had to stop in. Food tasted great and was presented so nicely. We all had egg drop soup, to me it was the best I had. Together he had peanut chicken, shrimp broccoli, and Mongolian beef. Soup and egg roll came out first. Staff was ultra friendly and were catching up with long time regulars that were stopping in. I'd suggest you eat here if you're in town craving Chinese.

Great food… only offers take out at this time… order through the website is very convenient.

This has to be the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. The service was beyond what you would expect. They treat you as family as soon as you walk through the door. Went above and beyond for our time there to be comfortable as we waited for fresh food. This was cooked to order and were very fast. If you want a restaurant to brag about you have just found it.

I love this place. Always very friendly and very very good food! The portions are huge and I always get 2 meals from 1 order and I'm not a small guy lol

I love their food. Authentic Chinese food. Their chicken fried rice is addictive. So please don’t eat that okay ;)
They are quick and always friendly. They have been around a while and I am glad that they are just a short drive away.

Actually we ended up eating somewhere else based on the owner/waitress recommendation but I think they deserve a 5-star rating for their honesty and superior customer-centered servive. We first came here because this restaurant has the highest rating of Chinese restaurants in the area. When we asked if they have authentic Chinese dishes, the lady who greeted us told us their cooking is more American-style Chinese and we have to go to Cleveland for authentic Chinese foods. This is AFTER she already set up the table and gave us water. She was super nice and said it's OK if we wanted to try something else. She then suggested several good Western choices nearby. We tried one of them and really liked it.
