Levee House Bistro

Great meal at this classy restaurant with big windows looking out at the Ohio River/bridges. Very attentive service. My salmon (apparently cooked by the new sous chef) was very overcooked. I mentioned it when the waitress came to the table and she apologized, took it to the kitchen, and then the chef returned with a perfectly cooked salmon filet. The chef said he used that as a teaching moment for his sous chef and appreciated me speaking up. Now that is true customer service. Thank you to the Levee Bistro staff for doing a great job!!! I look forward to returning with more folks in the future.

First time in Marietta, checking out the alma mater of my boyfriend. This was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had, definitely the best scallops and I’m from New England, so that’s saying a lot. I wasn’t going to have them as scallops can sometimes be iffy, especially when not on the coast, but then I heard the chef is from Boston, so I took a chance. Amazing!

I met the owner and she definitely has her heart and soul in the business. Great staff and I wish I lived close because it would definitely be my go-to dinner locations.

We arrived shortly after 12:30 and they were a bit busy and only two servers; however, we were seated quickly and our server was there in a short amount of time asking for our drink order. She was back straight away with our drinks and took our lunch order. The food was excellent and reasonably priced for lunch. It was a pleasant 82° day so we opted to sit outside and enjoy the view of the river. Made for a tranquil experience.

What a hidden gem! Sits right across the street from the river. Great view and outside seating available in the summer.
I had the cod with roasted potatoes and squash. I couldn't get enough of the cod and wouldn't have minded a bigger piece. I also started with the roasted beet and kale salad. Other than the beets being a little hard, it was fantastic.
My wife had the pork chop (without the mushroom Marcella sauce since she hates mushrooms). The chop was very juicy but a little over spicy (pepper?). She also had French fries and a house salad. A basket of warm bread was provided.
Price was reasonable and the food was fantastic. Our waitress was pleasant and we got everything that we ordered correctly.

Today, us girls had our monthly luncheon at the Levee House Bistro. They never disappoint. Food was delicious. Chef Tom set us up with the best seat on the patio. Our waitress, Hayleigh was very accommodating! Thank you for making our 3 hour luncheon the best!!

A lovely restaurant. Food is phenomenal. The scallops were perfectly cooked. They melt in your mouth. Lemon Drop cocktail was smooth and delicious. The cod was excellent. Go and enjoy this great restaurant.

We ate dinner at the Levee House because of a recommendation. Absolutely spot on. We order crab cakes any time it’s on the menu; and these are high on the list for quality and flavor. Nice wine selection. Attentive and friendly staff. Beautiful view

Amazing food! We had the strawberry spinach salad and I absolutely loved it. For appetizer we had scallops with a blueberry sauce. Some of the best scallops I've ever had, tender and delicious and the little bit of blueberry sauce with each bite was amazing. For dinner I had the crab cakes with mixed vegetables and yellow Yukon potatoes. Most restaurant's side vegetables are just blah and lying there. These were some of the best stir-fried vegetables from a restaurant we have had. My crab cakes were moist on the inside not overcooked and came with a Chipotle sauce which really highlighted the crab cakes. My husband had an old favorite of the Levee House, the chicken and pea pasta. And it did not disappoint. We were hearing raving reviews from all the tables around us about their food. We highly recommend trying out the new Levee House bistro.

Great menu, great atmosphere, fabulous outdoor river view seating. Everything we ordered was completely next level! Love this place. If you haven’t yet, just go!

Happened to park across the way to look at the River in the snow and decided to stop in for lunch for my Mom's birthday. Food was delicious, and the chocolate creme brulee for dessert (in lieu of a birthday cake) was absolutely spot on. Waited on by an absolutely delightful woman who made feel so welcomed. Would highly recommend with three thumbs.

An absolute jewel of a find. We try to make the Bistro our mealtime stop when passing through. We enjoy the outdoor seating and watching the activities on the Ohio River. The food is good and the service impeccable.

To start off the food was amazing. All the workers were very polite and friendly. The prices are a little up there but for an occasional splurge it's a great choice. Most meals were in the $18-$25 range with the specials between $45-$55. This is not our normal price range for dinner dates but we will definitely be returning and bringing some family with us.

We went here for my mom's birthday. I had not had the time to eat lunch that day, so I was exceptionally hungry.

I started off with French Onion soup. Honestly, it was the best onion soup I've ever had.

Then, I ordered the beets and berries salad. It was delicious. I've never seen the blackberries so juicy, ripe. Everything was so fresh. Ah, the joys of summer. I would recommend the salmon to put with it, cooked perfectly. Everything was fantastic.

As far as the customer service experience, that was supreme. The chef and waitress did everything in their power to ensure we had an enjoyable time, and my mom had a special birthday. That is a rarity when it pertains to solid customer service. We sang happy birthday to her. The picture came out great.

Last, I split a cake with berries with whipped cream on it with my mom. We both had wide smiles on our faces.

Hence, I want to go here for my birthday! It has been a long time since I have a delicious, quality meal eating out.. Most places are mediocre at best. It was a perfect ending to a hard day. I am so glad we went here.

I have been here several times before for both lunch and dinner. It is quality food at a decent price. Thank you to the master cook and waitstaff to make it special. You are excellent at what you do!

Hometown luxury is what I feel they provide. Getting to meet and know the owners brings that great feel of down to earth and the food they serve is out of this world so I still feel mind blown each and every time that this quality of food is obtainable right here in our little ole MOV. Keep it up, I love what you guys do!

Extremely well prepared food served hot and delicious. Everyone at our table was very pleased with high-quality meals at a very fair price.
The scallops, crab, and salmon all got high marks. Don't miss the creme brulee!

We always have great food at this restaurant. Their seafood is the best. Joy was our server and she is very attentive. We love the view of the river. This is our first choice for a restaurant in the area

Stopped for brunch on our way home from Charleston. Amazing location, right next to the river. Food was fresh and delicious 😋 service was great! We can't wait to eat here again!

Food was exceptionally good. The prices were quite reasonable. There is a beautiful river view if it is nice enough for outdoor seating. The interior space is nicely done but is not particularly noteworthy. No negatives to report and I plan to return.

Visiting Marietta, we were given a gift card to Levee House. Food was very good. Waitress was very nice and helpful.
I had the chicken and pea pasta.
