East Falls Riverwalk

Wonderfully large urban waterfall! I drove over here after I went to Western Falls in Cascade Park and enjoyed the short stairs down to the viewing platform. Odd juxtaposition such a large waterfall right next to a large, old school apartment building.

Love this road side waterfall with handicap accessible boardwalk nice picnic area for eating to viewing platforms stairs to go down but you could totally see the waterfall without going down them

Spectacular at night with the upper falls lit with blue lights and the lower falls lit up with pink. There were about another 20 folks there plus a news crew from channel 3. Many different viewing platforms. This was the major accomplishment of former Mayor Bill Grace.

Very pretty walkways and landscaping here.... no restrooms though. And the waterfall is the main attraction, with a few different views available. Worth a stop if your in the area

A very beautiful place 5 star in my book right from the parking lot down a few steps to look out points This is a great spot if you have an elderly person that cannot walk very far I think it will absolutely take their breath away

Perfect little place to enjoy a little picnic and watch the sunset. The waterfalls are beautiful!

Here is your sign: visit here asap!!!! The east falls has less trails to hike, but is just as mighty as west cascade falls!
I had put off this trip since it’s about an hour away from me - but I was missing out! These falls rival with Brandywine Falls, in my humble opinion. Also a very neat abandoned (and decrepit!) building below the viewing platform, which you can climb down to pretty easily.

So beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Great for pictures and it's securely watched with cameras, live fed, for ur safety.

Great park in the heart of downtown Elyria! The East Falls Riverwalk overlooks the East Falls with a additional observation deck called "Two Falls Trail" the trail behind the police station. Don't forget to vist the also Westfalls my hiking into Cascade Park. Vist our fb group "Friends of the Eastfalls Riverwalk ".

Very peaceful setting, nice bridge/deck and lit up parking lot. The river was brown so I took a black and white picture.

Great place to get a breath of fresh air and a good view of the river that defines the city of Elyria in many ways, but is often out of sight. Especially interesting today because the recent rains have swollen the falls to awesome proportions.

Awesome and powerful waterfall. Was a brisk day, but that added to the amazement.
