Chinese Palace Restaurant

Overall, it’s a decent Chinese restaurant in small town New Mexico.

I had the sweet-and-sour chicken with the sauce on the side. The chicken was nicely cooked, but the sauce had a taste that I could not put my finger on what it was, but it was not something to my liking, so I did not eat the sauce. I ended up taking the chicken home and buying sweet-and-sour sauce at Walmart.

I also had the barbecue fried rice, and I thought that was very good.

The staff and service were outstanding even though the restaurant was packed with customers.

If you’re trying to decide on a good Chinese restaurant in Silver city, I think you should definitely give the Chinese Place an opportunity to show you what they can do.

Small Chinese restaurant in Silver. We had their reasonably priced lunch specials yesterday. The food was tasty with large portions! The cute server (she was the only one) was on the ball. Expertly handling a full house all by herself. She also doubles as the cook's helper. Recommend!

Funky old building hides some great Chinese food. The beef in plum sauce was excellent. My partner had an excellent tofu broccoli dish steamed rather than fried that met all the requirements of her vegan low fat diet.

The food here is stellar. Nice big portions, great taste. Building is old and small (not modern at all) a single waitress who is on the ball. Beer is also on the menu. Prices are very reasonable.
I go there every chance I get.

Surprised! This was a delightful meal, one of those hole in the wall places that served excellent food. Don't be dissuaded by the building, you will be happy with what's inside.

This is the best Chinese place ever food is fantastic and so is the staff.Even though the place is small it doesn’t change the way the food taste there chef is the only cook there and works hard everyone is so nice and by far the best eating restaurant in town

Here for work. Tried this place for three nights and it was by far the best I've had in a long time! On the fourth night tried other place and there is no comparison. This place doesn't look great on the outside but inside is very warm. Staff is good and cook is amazing. Can't wait to come back. Dont usually review but a local recommended other place and I was so disappointed.

This place is the bomb. I’m here on business and tried it out. Amazing!! Great service!! Cheap!! Best of all if they cook unlike any other Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to ....... fresh!! The lady who cooks is a genius. I ate at this place 2, no wait 3 nights in a row. Every night I was floored. Don’t eat at the other Chinese place in town. I ate there the 3rd night in town. Yuck yuck yuck. It was ok but a far cry from my Chinese palace!!

Always delicious, if you haven't tried the Chile, please do! Crab Rangoons fresh and tasty. Chow fun noodles with chicken and mushrooms are my favorites!

I was impressed and it surpassed my expectations (which admittedly weren’t very high) I halfway expected some deep fried, overly sweet, bland mix of soy sauce flavor... but ended up getting the kung pao chicken with fried rice. The spice level was more mild than normal kung pao, but the flavor had a little hint of curry, which made it awesome. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Everything on the menu is under $10, which is another huge plus

Ok of all places this was the best ever Chinese food. And I've eaten Chinese food from NYC to Cal. It was delicious and my other two friends were just as shocked not thinking we would find the very best in Silver City New Mexico!!!!
