Sunrise Resort & Event Center

This is our 2nd year hosting our company retreat at the Sunrise Resort, and we're hooked on this place. Coming back felt like coming home for our office after our wonderful experience last year. Mark, Kylie and Patrick were so generous and kind in helping us reserve the resort and get everything set up. Kylie was so communicative and detailed, and even helped with important things like scheduling a restaurant to cater lunch or asking our preference on having the doors locked or open. They had all the pool keys ready for us on the fridge which was a small gesture but showed their attention to detail. As always the place is so clean and gorgeous. We especially love the boat room with it's large windows that overlook the lake. Sam at the front desk was so great about getting the conference room ready for us and they had it all set up exactly to our needs including a podium, microphone and the chairs we preferred. They are so good about caring about the details which means the world to us. As an organization that cares deeply about being excellent in the details, we're so grateful to have found a space with staff who show the same care and make us feel like family. I would highly recommend Sunrise Resort and their staff to anyone who is looking for the perfect company retreat, family getaway, large gathering or cozy couple retreat. Looking forward to many years of company retreats here!

We had our quilt guild retreat at Sunrise and it was our 5th year there. Usually about 40 people attend and the rooms accommodate us well. The rooms are affordable too. We use the conference room and take advantage of the kitchen too. We love the layout and have booked for next year. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is awesome! We stayed in the lighthouse, literally in the lighthouse!

Right on the edge of the lake with 360 degree views.

The hot tub is huge, the bed is comfortable and the suite had a giant party shower.

Just 5 minutes south of the Idaho border and a 10 minute walk to the main grocery store.

Lovely place for an evening swim. We belong to the club and enjoy swimming and hot tubbing. The pool is set up so that even when a lot of people are there plenty of people have room to spread out and enjoy themselves. The pool is often colder than one might like but the kids adjust quickly.

We stayed at the resort for a family wedding. It was a beautiful location. The staff was accommodating and unobtrusive. Our room was clean and comfortable. The event center was perfect for the reception. I would highly recommend Sunrise Resort and Event Center for a nice getaway or family event.

Stayed this week for two nights. I loved this place! Staff was super nice, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great venue for family gathering and activities. Our room was great! I would go back for sure!

One bedroom condo 2 day stay in November. It was a wonderful place to come back to after taking pictures all day. We made ourselves a scrumptious breakfast there. They had all the plates, bowls, and utensils we needed. There is a hot tub there. But so cold outside that we had no desire to use it. It was a place to call home for two days with all the comforts needed for our trip.

Great place for our yearly company party. Can't speak on their rooms, but I heard they're great. Definitely suggest checking it out if you have the need arise. I understand you're able to schedule one if the overnight rooms or great rooms individually or together as well as the entire building.

I shot a wedding here a few weeks back, the location is amazing, the staff is fabulous! Their vendors all came in from Salt Lake City, of course they were all fabulous.

The venue provided a little microphone system for the Ceremony which worked well. You cannot find a more beautiful backdrop for a wedding either. The family stayed there for a few days and had some fun on the water.

This place is super awesome! The area inside and outside is very clean and the rooms are clean as well. The main lounge area has the most amazing view of the lake with HUGE windows. Price wise, it was actually cheaper than a lot of the places around it, which was a plus. Heated pool, games on the upper level like foozball, basketball, ping pong are a nice touch as well. My only complaint is that the wall are paper thin and if you don't mind hearing some... intimate moments among fellow resort-stayers, this might not be the place for you. Other than that, really solid place.

I cannot sing high enough praises for this resort, their staff and the family that runs it. They made our wedding day and weekend of events so magical, memorable and stress free. The building is clean and classy, the views of the lake are out of this world, the space is roomy and the staff are professional, responsive, flexible and genuine. We will definitely be using them for any future events that involve large numbers of people! I’m still blown away at how beautiful my wedding was - it seems like a dream! We can’t thank you enough Sunrise Resort!!!!

Our family came to stay for a week and enjoyed the bottom floor of this amazing place! The rooms were wonderful, the kitchen was fabulous and the movie theater was the bomb! If you are looking for a place to have a family reunion or company retreat, this is the place for you! The staff is incredible, especially Debbie Batt, the views are amazing, the entire property is clean and spacious and there are so many things to do! We can't wait to come back!

I planned a corporate retreat at the Sunrise Resort and it was PERFECT! The space was beautiful, the staff was amazing to work with, and the access to activities at Bear Lake was unmatched! This is the perfect space for corporate events or large family reunions. I will forever be recommending the Sunrise Resort to everyone I know!

5 stars across the board!! We have hosted our company retreat at the Sunrise Resort and Event Center for the past several years. The staff is beyond professional, available at all times, and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay one for the record books! Personally, I've returned with my family, so they could experience what I've gushed about for years. If that isn't a great recommendation, I don't know what is. Excited to stay again this fall for another successful and memorable company retreat!

Such a gorgeous and quiet community. The pool area is nice as well...the pool attendant dude is a bit over zealous and rude. The homes/townhomes/condos are all very well kept and amazing location to everything! Close to Garden City shopping and 20 min drive to the north or south end. Can’t go wrong staying here. Great views!!

We just had our wedding there on Monday (oct 1) and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you for helping us with our special day and for making it better than we ever expected. We booked and planned our wedding there a couple months in advance but had never been to the location in person. The bridal and groom sweet were stunning, the guys did an amazing job at setting up the room and the grass for our reception and ceremony. Just everything from start to finish was amazing. The guys handling the prep were so humble and kind and made it so easy to work with. You guys are awesome and we will definitely be back.

This place is incredible. I was able to go with a group of over 60 people and this was more than perfect for all of our needs and wants. There's great gathering areas for the entire company as well as areas to break off into smaller groups. It's very comfortable, lavish, clean, and inviting. I'm planning on going back as soon as I can. The suite in the lighthouse is a must-see. Book it if you can!

The resort was great. We used it for a company retreat. I had s cabin way up in the hill but it was give because of a shuttle service they had to get us between the resort and nearby cabins. My cabin had a full bath with a Jacuzzi tub, a hot tub, a king bed, and an excellent view of Bear Lake. There were also some wonderful excursions including a particularly fun UTV ride, as well as nearby access to the beach. Catering was ok, I'm not sure if it was the resort or a nearby company though. But it did leave much to be desired.

Sweetest people who run the place. Best "hotel" bed I've slept in!! I wanted to steal the sheets, they were so incredibly soft. The set up a whole Valentine weeked for us and it was perfect. Will go back again for sure!

Beautiful mountains and lake. Bed was comfortable, and the room was cozy. Great place for a getaway. 🥰
