Mountain Quail Cafe

We were a party of three for dinner and sat down right away. Drinks and food came fast even though it seemed really busy! My husband and I had burgers (soft buns and tasty meat!) and our friend had chicken fried steak. All of us loved our meal and we will be back soon. Looks like a good breakfast menu too.

This is a really good local diner that has nothing to offer people with food allergies but maybe some cottage cheese. The portions are big, staff is friendly, and there are lots of parking spots. There is a bonus gift store there that features local artisans.

I quaint cafe in front of a rv park. Parking is easy. Entry is easy. Seating is fast. Drink orders are taken and delivered quickly. Food orders are taken and delivered in a timely fashion. Served hot fresh and delicious. All contact was friendly and helpful. There are many things to look at around the building and in the small gift shop. A very good visit. I will return.

A gem on the edge of Quartzite. Our wait staff was friendly and professional, and full of charm. The Reuben was just perfect, not an overloaded meat monster, but cooked to perfection. I’d give it six stars if possible.

Walked into a lobby full of waiting hungry people. Found out you write your own name of the waiting list notebook. Good to know so you're not just waiting while other people "in the know" write their name before you.

We had time to look at the menu while we waited, maybe 20 mins? Our server was Amazing. The food was fast and delicious. My only complaint was that I would have loved more of the homestyle potatoes. They were AMAZING! And my favorite thing on my plate, but everything was delicious.

They have a small giftshop that sells local handmade items, art, magnets, etc. Cash only.

Oh and most importantly the coffee was amazing AND they have flavored creamer!! 😄

Wonderful breakfast: veggie omelette, (awesome) home fries, sourdough toast & coffee - with some Chalula sauce to help me (a little more) to wake up.

Good local restaurant. Everyone was pretty happy with their breakfasts; eggs Benny, bacon sausage eggs. Our companion mentioned their chicken fried steak was ok...but not great. My wife loved her eggs Benny. My sourdough toast was very good. Server was super friendly & efficient

Loved it! My husband & I wanted to try a new place and we're so glad we did! Service was wonderful and friendly! Food was perfect! And the restaurant was very clean & comfortable! We'll be back soon!

I had the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries, it was delicious, & it came with a good amount of food. I will definitely go back again to try other items on the menu. They have a large parking lot & they had immediate seating on super bowl Sunday 2024.

Passed by, on our way home from Parker, food was great. Our waitress was excellent even though she was training new staff. New cooks are not really trying to check what the food they were supposed to do. My fish and chips were great and ice cream was delicious.

Cafe off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. The vegetable beef soup was homemade and tasty. My hubby enjoyed the patty melt with beer-battered onion rings. The star was the southwest sandwich (beefeater)! Delish!

Everything about the place was nice. The food was delicious and lots of it. Out waitress was efficient and friendly. We will go back when we are back in town.

I had breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, hash browns, and a biscuit. The bisquit was really good. My husband had the patty melt with grilled onions. We really enjoyed our meals. The cafe was really busy. The service was very good.

Cute restaurant with a traditional diner atmosphere. Only 4 stars because there are no gluten free options. Our food was delicious though. (I ordered an omelet and asked the waitress to let the cook know I have a food allergy).
I'd say 95% kid friendly. High chairs available and we only got dirty stares from one sour faced old lady when my 2 year old let out a squeal of excitement over his breakfast (he let the whole restaurant know how good the bacon was). No one else seemed fazed including our waitress which I'm grateful for.

We've heard mix good and bad about the Quail Cafe, so we stopped in for lunch. We had the specials, we thought they were very good. Had Malibu grilled chicken sandwich served on a kaiser roll with ham, pineapple and melted swiss cheese, sweet potato fries. Also had the smothered in gravy country fried chicken breast served with a substitute salad ( instead of mashed potatoes and gravy) and had carrots. everyone was very friendly, the waitress was very nice also will definitely come back again. Went into the quail restaurant About two months ago The worst omelet I ever ate there so sometimes it's good sometimes It's bad

Top marks for Service!! Our server was wonderful, attentive & happy. The food was incredible home cooking & the flavor outstanding! If we are ever in Quartzite again this is the place for us. 🤗

Nice little town restaurant with a great service. The food was a bit greasy but an enjoyable family style seating in the back room. We'll be back for sure.

I read reviews before I picked this restaurant . The rerstaurant was easy to find and the atmosphere was like an old roadside diner . The food was terrific as was the service . The price was reasonable , withn lunch for three around 40.00. The server checked with us several times to make sure we were staisfied with our meal . I would recomend this restaurant for quality of food and great service .

Amazing off the road Mom and Pop eatery. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. The food was phenomenal. I had a patty melt with wet fries and my hubby had the special. All I can say is delicious!!!! I miss you V 🥹

French Dip is pretty good. Better quality than I have ran into other places.
