The line forms early, but moves along quickly. We always got there early, lunch and dinner, so wait times were no problem for us. We always had delightful servers, attentive and hard working. We are eager to return whenever we’re back in Taos.

It's been 20 years since I've been here. The food, service and atmosphere haven't changed a bit. Food was absolutely amazing. There was a wait when we arrived around 2:15, but it wasn't long they move quick here. Parking can be a little rough depending on how busy it is, but they do have an overflow parking area. Frito pie was fabulous. My husband got fajitas and my son got a burger.

Rolling up to see the line to get seated was a bit discouraging. Def get there early if you can. If you can’t, it’s actually a good spot to hang out for a bit. The heated side room is cozy. For being such a popular spot, the staff was very pleasant and not rushed which vibes very well with the slow pace of Taos. We sat outside next to the fire and were well looked after. Definitely recommend the combination plate as everything was delish! The flan was also superbly smooth and rich. Easy to tell why Orlando’s is an institution!

An amazing hole in the wall restaurant in Taos. Seats maybe 50 and has a 30 minute wait within 5 minutes of opening for dinner. It's popular, and for good reason. The staff are friendly and the food is amazing whether eaten in or takeout. Not to be missed when you are in Taos. Shown is the grilled shrimp with chili relleno. I also had blue corn enchiladas. So very good,, better than other places I tried (not that they were bad...they weren't). Just that Orlandos was a unanimous favorite for my family.

Arrived at 5:00pm and there was a long line. The line moved quickly and we were seated by friendly wait staff. My order was taken quickly by a helpful, friendly server. The food came out quickly. The food was hot, fresh, tasty and very good portions. My partner really enjoyed her chicken fajitas and the combo plate I had was excellent. I would highly recommend if you are in the Taos area.

Amazing chili rellenos! Grilled carne adovada was good (a little tough for carne adovada). They had a green chili beef taco on special, which was good as well. We're definitely coming back. Service was amazing. We felt like family!

Love this place everytime that I'm in Taos. It's often busy but worth the wait. Once we were seated the food came out incredibly quickly and was delicious. Bonfire out front and general restaurant atmosphere is lovely. They've clearly put a lot of effort into making it look nice.

Great place for authentic New Mexican cuisine. Love all the options, have tried many over the years. Service is quick, but they are VERY busy, and there can be a long line to get in. Limited seating means a long wait, so get there early if possible. There is a warming room and an outdoor firepit, so not a big deal. Worth the wait. Go back every year without fail!!

We arrived close to 5 o'clock and we were the last table seated before 35-45 minute wait times. The hostess was great and very aware of the seating and people. The waitress was amazing! They had additional staff to help with drinks, appetizers, bringing food and clearing food. I think it helped the efficiency! The entire staff was great! I had the Los Colores and my husband had the beef burrito. Both were very flavorful and filling! I wished we had room for the flan because it looked amazing, but I ate too much and now I'm a fat happy kid!

As a picky eater from Oklahoma, I was very hesitant when I saw the menu and saw a lot of things I wasn’t a fan of. However, our waitress Felicia was very accommodating to what I wanted and had my food made exactly how I ordered it. Additionally, upon our food arriving, we did have a couple of issues that Felicia immediately recognized and rectified. The amount of hospitality, and the attentiveness that we received will keep us coming back every time we come to Taos. Genuinely a phenomenal restaurant experience we had tonight! So glad we chose Orlando’s

Popular spot serving Mexican food with a beautiful shaded patio area (dog friendly) as well as indoor seating. The food was great and flavorful - we ordered chips and salsa, the smothered veggie burrito (made vegan with no cheese) and blue corn tacos (made vegan by subbing in beans for the meat).

The patio is nearly entirely shaded with different color umbrellas, which gave the restaurant a nice and colorful feel. There was around a 20 min wait when we arrived for lunch but there were chairs to sit in during the wait.

Busy place for a reason!

Terrific service & fair prices for authentic NM cuisine. We had smothered burrito and shrimp enchiladas. Inside or out, you can’t go wrong with a table in this joint!

Orlando’s is a wonderful restaurant in Taos serving authentic north New Mexican food. Staff are super friendly and fast service once you’re seated! You can enjoy inside or outside sitting! The chile is pretty spicy but amazingly tasty. Combination of a taco, enchilada, and tamale, served with pinto beans and posole. The place get fairly busy most evenings and especially weekends.

The best spot in Taos New Mexico! Long line and wait is crazy during lunch and dinner. But!!!! It’s so worth it!!! Delicious!!! Authentic New Mexico chilies 🌶 literally mouth watering. I took some photos for you to see how massive the serving! Drinks are tiny but delish! Staff are super friendly and fast service once you’re seated! You can enjoy inside or outside sitting! Must eat place!

This restaurant is a legitimate New Mexican spot. We had enchiladas (pulled pork and chicken) they were outstanding. Service is top notch and friendly. Fire pit outside while you are waiting was a great place to meet new friends. Decor is the ultimate anti-chain and feels like somebody cared enough to pick it all out. We are coming back.

The red chili is absolutely delicious 😋 I had the combination plate and everything was amazing. Food came out quick and hot. The tables are a little small and close together, but the service was great and we understood considering the cozy atmosphere.

I can only say good things about my experience here. I thought the blue corn enchiladas were very good and some of the best I've had. The posole was great and I was overall only disappointed that I couldn't finish every last bite on the plate. I hated to leave such good food behind. I think they do the chili well, and the red chili was spicy but flavorful. It was definitely my favorite one of the two. Our server was aware of everyone despite the establishment basically being packed plus some, and the need for overflow parking was quite validated. This place deserves all the business it gets and if you ever have to wait, it'll be worth it. The outdoor seating seemed pleasant enough if it had been slightly warmer out that day, and we didn't mind the short walk to the extra parking area at all, being able to take in the excellent mountain views for a minute. Coming from Texas and having eaten a lot of Mexican food in my life, this was something new to me that I can say I loved and I will miss at home.
