Shimmer Spa

This was my first experience at a spa and I am definitely coming back! Shimmer Spa creates such a relaxing and calming environment. I am so thankful that this experience was so comforting. This spa offers exactly what you need! Melissa is outstanding and goes out of her way to deliver the best service.

I had a gel mani with Alex. Cleanest manicure service I've ever had. So kind, easy to talk to. Love the outcome of my nails l. I will be coming back ❤

Awesome place, all your spa needs. Call for Carli and she'll take care of your hair. Massages , nails, pedicure treatment ask the receptionist.

The ladies here are super sweet. We saw karina to get my girls hairs done. She did really good. Their hair looks really good! Hands down I’d recommend.

I get all my waxing done here. Ashley is amazing. She always checks that you are satisfied before you leave and insists you call and let her know if you have any problems (reactions to the wax or bumps etc.) If you can't get booked online sometimes she'll work you in if you call. She's so friendly and they are so clean and have a great atmosphere. I've had a massage here too and loved that as well. They are very accommodating and I'm so glad we have them in town.

I LOVE shimmer spa! I have been a customer for about 4 years now and refuse to go anywhere else! Ashley (owner) has great customer service and always greets with a smile. I ask a ton of questions prior to getting a new service and she is always willing to answer them. I have chronic back pain from scoliosis and spinal fusions and she helps me so much. She is very understanding and has experience with my disability and so I am always comfortable going to her. Alex (nail technician) does awesome with my pedicures. She's very thorough and takes her time. She's super sweet, easy to talk to and never gets mad about my indecisiveness. Carli (hair) is amazing and super sweet! I have gone from black to blonde and she did it with no damage. Highly recommend this salon & spa!

I get my nails done with Alex every two weeks. She is professional, personable, friendly and I love my gel manicure every time.
I also get massages from Melissa. She is awesome and I walk out of the spa totally relaxed afterwards.

Carli does an amazing job. Never disappointed. Oh yeah go and get a massage at this place and feel amazing

I went to get a cut and eventually color. Carli was the stylist I booked my appointment with and she made the look in my head come to life. She didn’t chop too much off and layered it to my liking. She gave me the new look I wanted and REALLY needed. She got my hair back to my natural color and gave me highlights and I have never felt so confident walking out of a salon. Her service was incredible, and she was incredibly personable. I will get my hair done here as long as I am in Alamogordo.

My husband and I went in to shimmer spa to visit Jessica for facials and what a lovely experience that was! Jessica was pleasant and professional. Plus we both walked out of there with glowing skin! The environment is very friendly, and most of all welcoming! 10/10 we WILL be back!

My wife got a great spa massage and full spa pedicure/manicure with gel, and she had nothing but wonderful things to say after her experience. I was able to set everything up with the friendly staff. The customer service is really top notch, they helped me navigate their appointment system and find times that worked for me, as well as let me pre-pay so everything could be a surprise for my wife.

The atmosphere was really relaxing and nice, low light, cool temperatures, soft music, and comfortable seating. The prices are reasonable and my wife even got a discount coupon to come back and get her nails done again for 10% off.

Overall, a great experience for any special occasion like Mother's Day, or normal usage. Just spectacular staff and customer experience.

I LOVE Shimmer Spa! I love everything about this place! Alex does absolutely beautiful nails, Joslyn always does an awesome job waxing my eyebrows and coloring, cutting, and styling my hair, and Ashley gives the best massages! Shimmer Spa is always welcoming, warm, and comfortable and they all go out of their way to make sure you feel pampered!

I went in for a shimmer massage with hot towels and rocks, it was AMAZING! I had never gotten a massage before and with 3 kids and being a military family let's just say my stress level was at an all time high and I was way over due for some relief. I booked my massage with Trisha and she did such a great job, I will definately be going back!!

Ashley is amazing! She runs her business with integrity and class. It’s so inviting and relaxing every time I go in! Ashley is so friendly, professional and her hands are a gift from God! I feel amazing!

I believe that Shimmer Spa is a great place to get massages, facials, nails and hair done. Everyone is so kind and welcoming over here and I enjoy being a part of Shimmer Spa. My first experience getting a massage and facial was great! I felt so relaxed and so welcomed. I highly recommend for everyone to make appointments over here because you will be happy with the service that you get!

Jocelyn is amazing! She is so nice, sweet and did my hair perfectly. I will never go to anyone besides her. The front desk lady was nice and helpful.

Wonderful couples massage! The ambiance and decor set the mood off perfectly for a well deserved, long overdue massage with the wife. Perhaps one of the best, most enjoyable massages in years. Wonderful, firm pressure. So very relaxing.

This salon is always clean and the ambiance relaxing. I highly recommend Carli. She has a lot of experience and cares about her clients. I always leave feeling great about my hair.

All of the ladies that work here are super polite and are always ready to serve your needs. I have had facials,massages,nails,and my hair as well as waxings done and I have always been satisfied! Definitely the place to go for relaxation and for your personal care!

Joslyn did a wonderful job. She listened to what I wanted and executed it nicely. I received red lowlights and she spaced and colored them very well. She also gave me new bangs and told me how to train them properly. I highly suggest.
