Cafe Sabor

Amazing food & drinks! In town for the Bear Lake Monster Winterfest and had dinner. I had shrimp taco (the best) and a fish taco. My husband had the Chili Verde plate with all rice. The prices are competitive. The service was A+! Next time we’re in Garden City we will return.

I love Cafe Sabor’s chips and salsa. This is a great location, especially if you sit outside in the summer. The food I had was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Ur had many dishes here, and they have all been good. My favorite is the Camarones a la diabla. Service has always been helpful and friendly. My wife is gluten free, and they had a lot of options for her.

We’ve been to Cafe Sabor a couple of times. Typically, I’d give them a four-star rating, but this time was different. The service was quite slow and the food was only average. The rice was drier than normal though the steak was well seasoned, moist and cooked just right. The service wasn’t proactive as we asked about our meal and had to request to have drinks filled on more than one occasion.

We’ll probably go back because there aren’t other choices for Mexican food, but we will consider other alternatives more. Let hope the experience is far better next time!

We went back later in the season and the change was noticeable. The service was far better and as it should have been. The food was better too this time. The steak was great like last time and the rice was moist and flavorful. Nice job on the adjustments!

We had excellent food and service at Cafe Sabor. We jumped in the icy lake today and after we warmed up we headed over for some Mexican food. They took good care of us and even gave us free dessert! Loved it!

They have the nicest staff. They let us come in right before close during a snowstorm. And they were so attentive and polite serving us, and the food was phenomenal. Best choice!!

Excellent food and excellent service. They offer great deals as well. Fajitas for 2 for $20 is a killer deal on weekends, and is usually what we go for. I was very impressed with our server on our last visit. The kids meals come with an ice cream to finish, but one of our sons is lactose intolerant, and our server grabbed a lactose free popsicle from his personal stash for my boy. Not just great service, but very kind and thoughtful.

This place is absolutely delicious! Our waiter was super nice, the food was great, and our order arrived in approximately 10 minutes. We love going here!

I was really impressed with this place! Super understaffed, but got our food out quickly and it was awesome! I got the vegetarian quesadilla… I know I’m going through a little vegetarian kick sue me, but was really impressed as I LOVE pesto! It made a vegetarian meal delicious which is hard to do. Their mild salsa and chips were also legit! Highly recommend this place!

The place was packed and they only had two servers. We had very low expectations but the drinks and food arrived quickly.
We were served chips and two types of yummy salsa right away. My husband got the carne asada burrito. I got the chicken Durango with authentic tortillas.
Our waiter, Armando, was so attentive, kind and thoughtful. My girls got the kids meals that came with ice cream and he was considerate enough to ask us if it was ok to bring them out. Of course we said yes.

The food was good. We had large group and everyone seemed to like what they got. These are large portions plates. Service was great when we went.

This place is fantastic. Portion sizes are absolutely perfect and the staff is very nice. I loved how authentic the food was. The staff was even nice to the group of seven people that showed up 10 minutes before closing. I'm definitely going to be coming back here next time I'm at bear lake!!

This place was amazing! The service was above and beyond! We had our dogs with us and they sat us at a table by the grass and got them water! The food was delicious! We will be back because of the food and service! Thank you!

They got a pretty refined place here. Nice open on the off season. Lots of places shut down end after summer.

My family went to Cafe Sabor in Garden City over Raspberry Days. The attentive service from our waitress and the incredible manager named Armando made this such a great experience. The flavors and authenticity of the dishes made it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine and excellent customer service!

Con Sabor is the place to be! They sat us outside and the nice breeze and sunset sky with the fresh plants and flowers made a great atmosphere. Our server from Georgia kept our drinks full, and took care of us and gave us great recommendations to try the chicken dishes. My wife got the Mole and I got the pollo con arroz with diablo sauce. They were huge plates with fresh delicious food. The flour tortillas were cooked to order and the chips and salsa were bomb. The price was great too. Every time we come back to bear lake we will come to Con Sabor and I recommend everyone to do the same.

Good food. Food price. Had the steak taco. Wife had the vegetarian rice and beans along with a cheese enchilada. First time in bear lake. We have a cafe sabor in st g. So we’ve been there before. Glad to know that the food is the same.

The wait was terrible . Portions are small as compared to Island Park Sabor. Price is the same. Facilities are smaller and disorganized. The time it took to get our food was poor at best. Island Park is a better restaurant
