Customer service was okay however food quality was lacking. The chicken fried steak was served with brown gravy not country, the breading was seriously lacking flavor or texture and the salad bar that came with my dinner had rotten tomato and very sad looking veggies on it.

If I could rate 0 stars I definitely would...My girlfriend has been going here for years, wanted a simple teriyaki steak, however we live in Shelby so she asked her mom to bring her one (who still lives there and was a frequent customer) . Big mistake because apparently the cook didn't know what he was doing or somehow "forgot" to season or sauce the steak at all, not even a little salt. I've been in the food industry for roughly 10 years and never once took feedback from a customer that came to my establishment and had a bad experience that left unsatisfied after recieving word we screwed up we made sure to correct the mistake immediately and make sure the customer left happy and that was anyone with a receipt, much less a regular customer over several years. And for my first restaurant experience of malta I can honestly say I'm not impressed, to the point that I know the one place that will never get my recommendation while still owned by the sanctimonious lady that refuses to even acknowledge a mistake, much less have any customer service skills to handle it.

Not clean the cooks don't wash their hands,the waitresses are rude the owners daughter and her daughter are rude. Don't eat there or work there
