Another awesome day at high cliff

Lots of interesting wildlife

This is the trail I walk almost every day. It gets a little complicated in the winter months as they do not manage the snow and ice. I have fallen several times. In the fall it can be very busy with photographers. It is a peaceful trail, but offers accessibility which the trails in the park can not. There is a section that does sometimes flood. Black ice is notorious on the concrete bridges and low lying swampy areas.

This a kept-up pond but isn't anything special. There are some birds about, but I they were typical to the area. If you have made it out to High Cliff Park, spend more time near the parks than this pond. While I was visiting bugs were out in force, so be prepared for swarms if you come. If you are a local though, this could be a nice park to walk about. The path is paved so it is a casual place to get a waterside view.

Wasn't expecting to pay that much

Nothing there except bluegills now. So disappointing... It was good fishing there about 10 years ago.
