Garden City Pond

We fished here for an activity as part of our family reunion. All of the kids had a chance to catch a fish, many of them for the first time. The paved path was fun for younger kids to ride scooters on when their attention for fishing ended. The park entertained as well. The pickleball courts are nice. We brought camp chairs and sport umbrellas for sun relief. Worms and spinners worked well for bait.

This is a great park and pond. Fun for the whole family. No swimming just fishing. There is a path around the Pons. A big American flag you can see a mile away. A big grass field.

Fantastic fishing! On the east side of the pond there was lots of fish. In our group we caught a total of 14 or 15 fish. The kids had a blast and many of them caught their first fish. Great place to teach kids to fish.

Fun, very quiet spot to fish from the pond and a playground for the kiddos.

Fun little pond for beginner fishers. Not a lot of shade so bring sunscreen

This pond was easy to find and even in high wind and cold temperatures we caught our limit of trout in less than an hour on a simple rig of a bubble bobber and a night crawler.

Great little pond to bring kids to learn fishing. We caught 14 fish in 2 days. We used solely power bait.

The Park was very fun to visit but the grounds were very muddy and wet. It looked like they were improving the parking, but it was not ideal for little ones. The pond and the park were great and I will definitely check back to see if it has improved next time in nearby!
Note, fishing permit required for ages 12+.

Update (April 2018): the mud situation is much improved. Would definitely come again for a fun walk around the pond and swinging. The huge log is a fun addition to the park!

Awesome playground fun to fish pickleball latterly right next to pond what else would wanna be doing all day?

I’m PICKLE RICK! PickleBall!! I didn’t hit the pond but hit the pickleball courts were sweet. 8 courts for all your pickleball desires. The courts are super nice. We played until dark since there aren’t any lights. Freaking awesome.

My 6 year old daughter ate her first rainbow trout from here! They do a great job keeping it stocked. There's a nice playground nearby for when the kids get bored and restrooms!

Mike's is a great addition for Garden City UT. Have needed a supermarket for a long, long time.

Well its kind not fare that I give a review I have a house up here been coming here for years upon is about 200' out my back door I'm right up against the park knew I would be after maybe 10 years ago as when I found out Love this place almost everything about It except for one is a bunch of people that show up so maybe I should be giving it a badd review I can just about year and TA 100% that you will have a great time at Bear Lake

Great little pond to fish. We went at dusk and the fish were biting BIG TIME! Just bring insect repellent along with your fishing gear and enjoy!

Great little fishing pond

Perfect place for kids to have their very first fishing experience and any age who just loves fishing!

Small pond that is well stocked. Just make sure you have a Utah fishing license. Other than that it's free.
