CMX Cinemas Plaza Café 12

We took the Sunrail into downtown Orlando for a little adventure with the kids and caught a movie at the CMX Plaza Cafe 12. It was only a five minute walk from the train station. We all had a great time! Food offerings at the Cafe were reasonably priced and everything seemed to be fresh and made to order. The theater has comfortable seating - showing some signs of age, but still nice. The screens, picture quality and audio were all great and the ticket prices seemed reasonable. Lots of great little restaurants nearby if you didn’t choose to eat at the theater. All and all a great theater complex.

I just wanted to leave a review and spotlight the GM James for being so kind and helpful. I am one of the city producers of the 48 Hour Film Project and my event yesterday could not have gone any better. I have also booked our Best of Screening at this theater and I’m even looking to set us up again for our event next year. I’ve been doing this for some time and this venue has not only been the best but James himself has been the best hands down. It’s people like him that make you want to keep coming back! Thank you! We look forward to our next event in October!

We held the screenings for the 48 hour Film project orlando here this past weekend and have nothing but good things to say about this location. The GM James was excellent! He went above and beyond to make sure had everything we needed to make our event a huge success! We will definitely be holding another event here.

I went yesterday. I can't understand why the negative reviews. Clean Inside and out. Comfortable big chairs. Perfect sound. Easy parking in the garage next door for $3 after validation. Do that first when you arrive. When leaving, go to the garage CASHIER FIRST, before getting your car. My friend waited comfortably downstairs while I got the car. Super easy. Saw SOUND OF FREEDOM. well worth the money. Amazing true story.

Took myself and my girls to watch Transformers Rise of the Beasts on Monday night. The theater is aged and the carpets and seats could use some work so we were a little unsure we made the right choice in theatre's during our visit. With that stated the customer service from James the manager was helpful to allow us to have a great night. He was assisting us with our concession order and ensured we were able to make it to the correct theater in time to watch the previews. Excellent service outweighs the physical condition of the facility!

I took my granddaughter here to see a movie. This was our first time here. We had a wonderful time. Price was good. Staff were nice, concessions were good, we even tried some food which was good. Parking is a bit complicated at first but there is a parking garage and the theater validates your parking. I will definitely come back.

Great movie theater, covered garage parking for hot/rainy days. You can validate parking and its just 3 bucks. Theaters themselves are medium size, but have great, comfortable chairs, and you can choose your seats online. A/V was just fine, hi tech enough to make an impression, lo tech enough that my ears/eyes werent bleeding afterwards. Google really, very strongly suggested i add these lame photos. Helps to know where you are parked...

Love this theater. The seating is clean & comfortable. The parking is a pain- always remember to get your ticket validated. Elevators were not working the night we were there.

Caught a matinee showing on a rainy day, and had the theater to ourselves- perfect. I like this place a lot, comfortable seats and always clean.

Good food (popcorn was tasty), the soda was quality as well, comfortable seats, staff were friendly and the line was as long as I expected to see Oppenheimer.

The seats are very comfortable. Restrooms here are the cleanest I've seen in a public place. This theatre also had a pretty good variety of snacks, food and beverages. They sell both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Great movie theater if u go in the morning you can get a ticket for $6 dollars

Always love love coming here. Everytime a visitor is in town, I take them here as the best seat in orlando for movie watching. Nonetheless, today my visit was about taking a trip to Wakanda. And Wakanda was an exciting trip. These faces and people were the ones I captured as they arrived to watch #BlackPanther. @RextiMedia shot this.

Food is amazing. Ticket prices are cheaper than other theaters. Cool location and the seats are very comfortable. If you park in the garage you can validate your parking ticket at the concession stand.

Friendly staff great food clean facilities doesn’t get better than here

Good theater but they are going through a remodel. But all in all good theaters.

This theater has cheap ticket prices especially for it being downtown. They also have very comfy seats with more than enough arm space for two people. The food a pretty good but expect premium prices.
