Great shop, super customer experience and you can even get the Quivic yarn that is the softest yarn with a denier of 12-14 denier vs Alpaca which is very soft but has a denier of 18-24!!! If you want to try a very unusual soft yarn go in here. Plus there is a great art studio featuring art from a local artist, whose work has been shown in a museum Washington DC. Beatiful art, great yarn super help. This is definately worth a visit!

Great yarn shop. Only place I've seen that sells 100% Qiviut yarn. Very expensive, but awesome.

Purchased a beautiful piece of watercolour artwork created by local artist Stephanie Ryan. She has so many beautiful artworks, but i could only fit one in my suitcase. The owner was lovely and spoke with me about the artist and her work. Love that I am able to take this home to Australia.

While on an Alaskan cruise I made a point to support local businesses, so I chose locally dyed yarns while in the shop. I also purchased a pair of earrings with mammoth ivory.

I wish I had the budget for Qiviut, Arctic Hare, or Arctic Fox yarns. Or a reason to wear them (I live in Arizona and don't need things that warm).

The staff were kind and informative.

Loved my time in the shop in September 2021 - had to take home a lovely Alaskan dyed merino super wash wool. And DH surprised me with a perfect gift to remember this trip, a gorgeous watercolor of a breaching whale.
