Lucy's Bakery

Tiny bakery off of Broadway, but absolutely delicious! My wife had a mango taijin cupcake which is now her favorite cupcake of all time. I grabbed two of the chocolate chip cookies and they are EPIC. So soft and chewy, really great balance of salt and sweet. Skip the ice cream parlor on Broadway with its Dreyer’s ice cream and go to Lucy’s!!

We had the chai cupcake, vanilla bean scone and cinnamon roll. All three were AMAZING!

chai cupcake: not too sweet (a high compliment coming from and asian iykyk). The cake part was very good even on its own and has a likeness to a good banana bread. The icing wasnt too over powering.

Vanilla bean scone: wonderful and pleasant flavour and an overall great scone!

Cinnamon roll: now i don't care for cinnamon rolls and in the past, walking past a cinnabon would make me nauseous from the pure sweet smell. Lucy's cinnamon roll was wonderfully balanced. I found in the past, cinnamon roll bread is usually dry and the only thing that saves it is the icing. But Lucy's breading part was just as good on its own as it was with the icing.

15/10 would recommend.

The cinnamon rolls were recommended by one of the park rangers. They are absolutely delicious! There's enough frosting, enough cinnamon, enough sugar and the bread tastes great. This is definitely the place to grab something off the cruise ship that is different and tasty.

This little bakery is a must try if you’re visiting Skagway! They have unique and delicious cupcake flavors (Mango-Tajin is pictured… what a combo! We loved it). We also ate their Asiago Focaccia like 3 times in 3 days. 10/10 recommend.

Small shop with amazing chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, and other baked goods. Very close to Molly Walsh park for a snack after playtime.

Edit: I posted this before I ate the scone and chocolate peanut butter cupcake, but they were so good I had to find my review and update it. The one bite of cupcake I got was delicious (before my child inhaled the rest of it). The scone was soft and melted in my mouth. They were clearly fresh baked today and I wish I bought more for breakfast tomorrow!!

The BEST cinnamon rolls EVER! Do not miss out on this deliciousness when you come to Skagway! They are the perfect breakfast or mid morning snack! Who am I fooling...they are great any time of day!

We were lucky to find Lucy's during our Alaskan trip. Lucy runs a fantastic bakery, a place where you want to buy everything. We limited ourselves to cinnamon rolls (the best ever) and Lucy's foccacia bread, which just has to be the best foccacia bread outside of Italy. If you're anywhere near Skagway, you should make it a point to stop in and say hi - guarantee you won't leave empty-handed.

I was visiting Skagway on a cruise ship stop this past May. When walking through town we overheard a local giving people travel tips and I heard the words "vanilla bean scone." I butted in and said, "excuse me, where are these Vanilla bean scones you recommend?" And he said Lucy's Bakery and explained how they were not dry, had flecks of vanilla bean and a great glaze. His name was Davis and he was spot on. This adorable bakery in a light blue tiny building, maybe once a garage? Had delicious vanilla bean scones and they were just as Davis described. We also got a cinnamon bun and some chocolate chip cookies ...all scrumptious.
When I go back to Alaska, I will make it a point to stop back at Lucy's bakery!

Amazing bakery. We called about a month before our cruise ship arrived as one of our party members was having a birthday and we were able to meet someone at the transportation center to pick up our cinnamon rolls and birthday cookie cake at 8 am and store it on the boat until dinner time. I love this place, just wonderful and I’ve been to a lot of bakeries .

Lucy's is to die for. Everything is good.. The scones aren't too sweet, the rhubarb muffin has chunks of rhubarb and streusel on top. She makes the common uncommon with a unique take. I'm glad we have them.

We consider ourselves experts on cinnamon rolls because we eat one every time someone says “ they have the best”
Well if you are getting off a boat, or visiting, or are anywhere in the world and want “the best” cinnamon roll, this is it. Seriously, not joking, this is it. Other items looked delicious too. And owner, baker is so sweet ( no punn intended). GO!

Cinnamon rolls are simply delicious! But the focaccia and scones are not to be overlooked!

Quaint, cute local bakery serving up a variety of pastries. I had the cinnamon roll and even though I waited a few hours to eat it, it was one of the best I've ever had.

Wonderful baked goods and really friendly service! The vanilla scone is spectacular, as is the shortbread with lime. Everything looked amazing!

Our first trip out during the pandemic and Lucy’s Bakery doesn’t disappoint. In fact,
6 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐s because she is personable with great baked goods. The chocolate chip cookie should be pretty average… NOPE. Delish and light. The Earl Grey Tea Scone was #nomnom. Visit Lucy’s for us in North Carolina who can’t just go back anytime we want. Thanks, LL Cool Lucy!

Awesome lil bakery in a bike store. They bake different fresh breads every day. The Asiago focaccia straight out of the oven is 🤤 Also yummy cupcakes and cookies!

Scott Jenson, you're the reason that this establishment has a 4.9 instead of 5 star rating :( At that point, it benefits the business MORE for you to not review at all, as you've now only hurt the establishment.
The perfect restaurant doesnt exist, and that's not the purpose of google reviews.
Anyway. I digress.

I just spent 10 days up here, and I tried to go back every day during my stay. Lucy's is THE BOMB. She has a gluten free option, as well, which is incredible.
The vanilla bean scone is the literal best scone I've ever had. Skagway is lucky to have her!

Okay first and foremost let me start by saying AMAZING! I gave 5 stars only because there's no 10...truly the BEST cookies EVER..No preservatives, perfect chocolate to cookie ratio..and the bottoms were perfectly baked (which I'm picky about)
