Southeast Tours

I just left the Yukon Sightseeing tour provided by Southeast Tours. Best time ever!!!!! One of the best tours I have taken to date. Brian was my guide for the day. Absolutely outstanding. I am so happy I chose this tour vs taking a 2.5 hour train ride. Note: I chose to book a tour on my own and not book with my cruise line. While the thought of riding an old style rail up to White Pass summit sounded like fun, the train does not make stops. It takes you up and brings you back. The Yukon tour makes stops while we seek out wildlife! Small tour groups only vs a large amount of people to cater to. I highly recommend you check them out and consider yourself lucky if Brian is your guide.

Had an amazing tour with Brian. Very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. He kept us entertained the entire time and stopped so we could take as many pictures as we wanted. Including amazing photos of bears. I will be recommending this tour to any of my friends who find themselves in Skagway. And I’ll tell them to try to get Brian.

Amazing tour! We booked the tour to Yukon and saw the Yukon Suspension Bridge, the Yukon sign, and various amazing mountainous sights during the tour up there. The tour guide stopped to the side of the road multiple times at various spectacular viewpoints. The tour guide was very informative and talked along the way, and was fun and easy going. Such an awesome tour!

Also, this tour was similar to the "white pass" tour, but was about ~1 hour longer and went to the Yukon bridge and sign, for an extra $40 per person. I'm so glad we did this because we saw even more amazing sceneries and mountains in addition to the bridge and the sign. This entire tour was spectacular!

We participated in the "Yukon Discovery & Sled dog" adventure booked through Southeast Tours. Clay Harper was an awesome guide! He was clear spoken, had interesting facts and stories, was quick to offer his assistance with photos and is just an all-around really nice guy!

The bus ride up and back was one of our best Alaskan experiences! So very glad we did it! Didn't hurt that our weather was perfect once we entered Canada!!

The dog sledding was ok. It was fun, but we think it should be twice as long a route as it was. It was a simple 10 min ride on a well worn path. The young lady who took us out was upbeat and gave some fun facts and details; but we were left wanting to know some of the mushing commands (i.e. how did the dogs know whether to go right or left at the fork) and more time on the ride.

We wish there had been better interaction, maybe some amazing Iditarod stories, an "ambassador" husky, just more to the sled dog experience. For the cost, it felt skimpy.

Keep in mind that this is only open in the summer months as a dog training and fitness activity, so there are no sleds. The dogs pulled an open 12 passenger ATV type vehicle.

The little wildlife museum was pretty cool. The lunch was quite good. 👍

We had the best experience! Brian our tour guide was awesome! We loved it so much! He was compassionate, knowledgeable, and efficient! We loved our time there in Skagway and Brian made it 100 times greater!

6 hour bus tour. Dennis was a great bus driver with lots of stories and information about the area., He stopped many times along the way to allow us to take pictures. Also made a stop to Caribou Crossing for lunch!

(05/18/22) We took the Scenic Waterfall Tour with an amazing guide, Pollyanna. The adventure was informative, beautiful and fun.

Had the best tour to the Yukon today with Eric as my driver. What a perfect day! Clear skies and warm weather, great driver, fun group of other tourist! Thanks for a perfect Father’s Day!

What a great opportunity to see some sights with Southeast Tours! We booked the Skagway City and White Pass Summit tour and were amazed at just about every corner and stop along the way. Registration was quick and easy. Our tour guide SAM is the best in the business. Welcoming and personable and made everyone feel at ease. Knowledgeable and entertaining. We all learned and saw a LOT. The Smaller groups were appreciated (two shuttle busses were required for that morning schedule). Well Worth the price of admission!

I wish I could give this tour more than five stars!

I took my dad on an Alaskan cruise earlier this month (June) and did not want to book excursions through the cruise line, as they were very expensive. After much research, I stumbled upon Southeast Tours. I read many previous TripAdvisor reviews of the company and one of their tour guides, Bryan. I was not disappointed!!

Bryan was super charismatic and funny. And my dad and I could not believe how patient he was with our group! We were fortunate to be part of a very small group (seven people). Bryan stopped the bus every time we saw any sign of wildlife so we could all get out and take photos. He even helped us with the photos!

When we came to Caribou Crossing, he gave us a guided tour of the area, dog mushing camp, and museum - something I noticed the other tour guides that had driven up to the location were not doing. Bryan was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about everything.

It's an understatement to say that this tour was the highlight of our trip! Thank you Bryan and Southeast Tours. Well worth every penny!

*FYI you see WAY MORE on the bus tour than you would with the (more expensive) railroad excursion!

We had Bryan Terrell as our guide. He was amazing. The weather was beautiful and he took us up to see the summit. Glad we did not take the train. His bus ride was the best. This was our first trip to Skagway and it was my favorite stop!

Aug 2017, Our tour guide Brian was fabulous. Talked about the rich goldrush history of Skagway, antidotes of this small scenic city. Made this port a highlight of our cruise. Small vans and many stops for photos make this a must tour. Saw more than on the White Pass train and left time to explore the town.

We had a great tour visiting multiple waterfalls. Our tour guide was Tim and he was very informative and helpful. Small group size of just 12 was great too. Would 100% recommend!

Our guide (who happened to be the brother-in-law to the owner) was absolutely FANTASTIC!! We had such a great time, and he was so knowledgeable! Highly recommend this company!!!

bus tour to yukon territories. brian was a great tour guide with lots of info about the area and many funny stories. best thing about this tour as opposed to the train tour is that we get to stop to take photos. if you're on the train, it doesnt stop for you!

We scheduled this tour before or cruise. It was cancelled because of a family emergency. They tried to call me, but I did not have cell service on the ship. When we checked in for our tour, they told us they got us on another tour from a company down the road. They took us there and made sure everything was in order. They didn't have to do this, but they did. Great company!

Best time on this tour. Awesome scenery. Bryan our driver and guide was great fun, lots of stories and interesting info. Highly recommend

In August 2019, Peggie was the very knowledgeable driver for our tour. She was awesome. It was an amazing experience.
