Hunan Chinese Restaurant

If you’ve ever had New York Chinese food then this place is just like it! If you haven’t, then you’re lucky because this place hasn’t failed me. The rib tips with fried rice was so good and the pepper chicken with onions and white rice was super tasty. The wontons were good but the egg roll was my favorite, stuffed with delicious veggies! Everything has been made to order, nothing is just sitting out and served. The young gentleman at the register is so nice too, they’ve a loyal customer here 🥳

This was our first time ordering from Hunan Chinese restaurant, and we arrived close to closing. The food was absolutely incredible! Definitely satisfied our cravings. The two men who helped us were so friendly. I recommend anyone craving Chinese food to eat here! We had chicken cashew and sesame chicken. Awesome Job!

We ordered takeout after driving all day from Austin. We were tired and super hungry and Hunan Chinese restaurant didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Chicken with broccoli, Szechuan beef and egg drop soup.

The plates came with pork fried rice and egg rolls. The Chicken with broccoli was delicious as were the egg rolls and egg drop soup. The portions were substantial and everything was steaming hot even after we got it back to our hotel.

The young man behind the counter was very polite and this was overall a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

We had driven 12 hours plus today. Ordered for delivery in our hotel. Everything we ordered came hot and the food was excellent! Had appetizer, soup and a dinner! If I lived here would for sure be a regular customer!!!!

My fiance and I are truck drivers so we have had Chinese from across the country! As far as carry out goes this is on my list to eat every time we pass!! Most places don't carry black pepper chicken they did! Quick fresh and they were not skimpy with the shrimp in the meal or in the rice!! A must try if you haven't.

Ordered Food here and was very pleased, the food was very tasty and delicious I can say it's like if I went to Hunan Providence and ate there..many reviews I think are expecting Normal Chinese Food as I did as well... but I gave it a chance and to my expectation was delightful. I'm Not from here but would come here if I'd live close by.

This place has never let me down. It was the first Chinese restaurant I found when I moved to Florida. 14 years ago. The customer service is always out of this world. The cuisine is consistently delicious and perfectly cooked. I have never had a bad experience, or any kind of issue like the wrong order.

These guys are phenomenal! Always get my food hot and correct. They put passion into creating everything they make and it really makes the food stand out, better than the rest of the Chinese restaurants in Crestview. His is an amazing place to eat if you enjoy Chinese food! I've been eating here for years now and the owner and his son are amazing chefs and thier food is simply amazing here! I very much recommend eating here or taking out super great food!

I've been going to eat at Hunan off and on for about 5 years and I always get prompt service and great food. My wife and I make it a point to eat here about 2-3 times a month. The fried dumbing are amazing and the lo mein makes my mouth water. Friendly service and decent price. About to order takeout right now actually which prompted me to write this. I was unaware about the health department shutting them down temporarily, but many restaurants suffer similar problems and it's not always the horrible things we hear like roaches or mice/rats. Sometimes it's old or outdated equipment or fire hazards due to regulations changing. Just something to keep in mind before writing a bad review. Do the research yourself to find out the truth. I will continue to eat here.

Every single time we order from the young man who runs the front counter he is SUPER friendly, gets the food quickly, is extremely helpful, and the quality of food is good to go. When I order delivery he remembers my family and goes above and beyond to take care of us. I believe it is locally owned by a family here in town and I enjoy supporting their business.

We love this restaurant! The owner and his family are the nicest people and always remember us when we come in, since the 2nd time we went there. The food is the best I have ever eaten! And NO MSG!!!! Pick up or dine in, we, as a family, highly recommend this place to eat!!!

I've been coming here for years, and every visit has been excellent. My order is always correct, hot, and delicious. The customer service is wonderful, and whenever I want delicious Chinese food, this is the first place which comes to mind. Highly recommended!

Best place! The meals are well priced and tasty. The place is very organized and clean, from what I have noticed.

The only downside is their opening times vs the time they are ready to take an order. The time they open up is not the time they are ready to make orders. It's more like the time they show up and open the doors. So come in 20 after their opening time for quick service.

I picked this place based on the reviews saying there was a allot of screaming in chinese form the people who work there and a crazy Chinese lady screaming and yelling to the point they may get violent with each other. I was disappointed there was not as much yelling or crazy Chinese lady as I would have liked but there was a little so I got what I came for. Almost forgot the food was great fresh and they hooked it up. Guy who was behind the counter was cool and made killer food.
