Third Base Grill

We've been going to Third Base Grill since it opened in New Kent. The food has always been very good. The "Scotty's Club" is excellent and their tots are great too. There are times when the service could be better but they have had a hard time getting people to actually work.

If you want a good meal and drinks, check this place out. I don't think you will regret it.

They were closing early for the Holidays but had such a great attitude and I couldn't even finish my plate it was so full. Great place to bring families. Especially those interested in sports because there are tvs everywhere. This is where I would bring my kids after a game. If they won it would be a celebration. If they lost it would bring their spirits.

I regularly visit my mother and brother in Quinton and we always make at least one visit to the TBG. I usually get the wings, which are excellent, but today I had a hamburger. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had in recent memory, and the homemade TBG potato chips were excellent! And there are quite a few televisions around so you can easily catch a game. If you haven't been there, then you owe it to yourself to go there!

We were roadtripping and found this on Google maps. It's a quick and easy trip from the interstate. Plenty of parking. Food was fabulous and the staff was friendly. We had bbq sandwich with yummy house special chips and a crab patty burger. We will be back! There is sports memorabilia on display and for sale with a little TV at each table and big tvs around the rooms to watch games.

I highly recommend for dates to family outings...
Good Food in Family style Bar. This is a hidden gem in New Kent County with easy access right on Pocahontas Hwy ( Rt 60)...
Plenty of seating and the Management\Ownership (Scott) is very friendly....

It had been quite a few years since I last stopped by TBG. When I walked in yesterday, it was just as I had remembered. My server was courteous and quick. I ordered a Ruben with tater tots. My sandwich was great. The owners, Scott and Owen, have done a great job with Third Base Grille. So much so, that they have opened another location in Hanover County. I highly recommend!

This was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised, the service was great, food was great (for a bar and grill) and atmosphere very welcoming and the price was very reasonable!

Nice and clean with friendly staff. Perfect tater tots. The burger tastes great on Texas toast.

We love getting the wings and I love the Hawaiian chicken sandwich. You have to try the Thai chili, Old Bay, or the Boom Boom wings sauces, all have been great. We’ve never had any issues with our food or service whether we dine in or carry out. We stopped going to the wing restaurant competitors because TBG is just 10 minutes away with better food, better service and better portion sizes. Definitely check them out

Found this place while traveling on I64. Great little spot. Worth the 4 or 5 minute drive off the interstate. Great food, great service. Take a break from Micky Ds and get a real burger.

Visiting for the weekend in New Kent stumbled across this place and it did not disappoint. Great service fantastic food and a fun atmosphere, kid friendly tons of TV's some tables had your own T.V to watch whatever you wanted super great if you have young children. Definitely try this restaurant you wont be disappointed.

The salad was absolutely delicious .. everything was so fresh and tasty .and HUGE portions. I can't wait to go back for another salad 🥗😋

Best meal I've had in awhile. I've been unimpressed with most restaurants lately. Overpriced food that wasn't that great. But, this place changed all that! Great food, great service. Will definitely be back!

Definitely the best wings in the New Kent area. We also have the Hawaiian chicken sandwich with tater tots and it was very good. Good selection of flavored vodkas behind the bar. It's a little bright in here, they could probably stand to dim the lights. Overall a very good menu.

Update: the lights were dimmed on our visit tonight and I misread the menu! Though I was getting a big hamburger and it turned out to be a gigantic hot dog and it was really good!!!
