Longfin Grill

We stopped by the new location in Stuart for the food "truck". This was our first time eating at Long Fin. We WILL be back !! The food was great , nice proportions ( we had enough for lunch and dinner ). Pulled pork sandwich was awesome and my husband had the chicken/ shrimp basket. ALL was great and love those fries ! Highly recommend stopping in ! Stuart needed another choice and this is perfect.

This is a one-of-a-kind food truck. I don't even know where to begin... Let's see, he makes his own sauces... from peppers that he grew, from seeds he collected around the world. Then he ferments or pickles (or whatever) them for a few years before he makes them into his delicious creations. Everything is very fresh and handmade. A true gem in the rough.

If you happen to find him in Meadows of Dan, near the candy shop, definitely stop for a lunch and ask him about his work. It's more than "work," it's a level of devotion that is uncommon in this world. The food is always excellent.

What a find in the mountains of Virginia! Don't judge the book by its cover or you'll miss something wonderful. Excellent and totally unexpected flavors make this a new favorite place to stop. Oh and don't skip out on the dessert... homemade and delicious!

Holy moly, that was the best Poboy sandwich I ever had. Plenty nice sized shrimp very nicely prepared.

The food was fantastic. We had shrimp and really enjoyed it. This is my favorite place to eat 😋. Well worth the two hour drive to eat here.

Nice family-run business with absolutely delicious fresh seafood. Also a lovely setting to stay and eat your lunch.

Ok not going to lie, but when you first pull into the parking lot you may think you should turn around, BUT the food was amazing! We had a party of 5 and we all ordered different things and sampled off of each other. I personally got the shrimp and scallops and it was cooked to perfection! My fiance's burger was very juicy. Staff was very friendly and patient when ordering, felt very welcomed. Highly recommend stopping by for a bite to eat!

Food is delicious, fresh and hot. We tried the fried shrimp, Oysters, BBQ tacos. Yumm! Service is unconventional, more like take away, you order from the outside and self seat yourself in the adjacent building. The staff is friendly and the area pretty with the Dan River running just behind the building. We are definitely going back. Be warned they have very limited hours.

Had a late lunch/early dinner and everything was great! Enjoyed sitting outside by the waterfall. The flounder was amazing along, the black bean burrito was huge and the "fried chicken of the wood" was unique and tasty. Highly recommend this place!

This is my favorite restaurant in the country. I regularly drive hours out of my way to eat here. The menu features change often so I try different things every time, but the fish tacos, swordfish, caesar salad, and Mexican chocolate cake are always a win. I've never had something I didn't absutely love. It may look unassuming but believe me when I say this is worth the stop.

The best food within 50 miles of the parkway in SWVA. I would eat there every single day if I could. Amazing, fresh good food always, served up riverside with a smile. R & K cannot be beat on service or food.

I've been here a couple of times now and the food is outstanding. The first time was in the summer and the creek side dining is lovely. This time we ordered at the truck and sat inside by the fireplace which was equally as lovely. The duck breast tacos were to die for!

Don't hesitate, some of the best food around. It may be a food truck but the food is fresh and incredible. Mahi tacos are excellent and the Grouper Rueben is fantastic ( I would just recommend adding Swiss cheese) . If your local or visiting, do not miss this Longfin Grill. It is the type of food as well as the quality that is expected in more urban areas. : )

So glad we stopped by Longfin Grill. The food is fantastic, the experience unique. Two separate customers sussed out that it was our first time, and let us know we were in for a treat. They nailed it. Can’t wait to come back!

The food here is absolutely wonderful. Delicious like I've not tasted before. Great service, great people, great food. What else can you want? A1.

We stayed at one of the privately owned cabins at Blue Ridge Passage Resort for a long weekend. Not only does the Longfin Grill (food truck now with the COVID-19 issue) offer the best food in Meadows of Dan, but I'd put it up against anywhere. Everything we ordered was EXCELLENT! I had the seafood platter with fish, scallops and shrimp and the batter was light and seafood done to perfection. My husband had the full rack of ribs and they fell off the bone with a nice smokey flavor. We also had the Ceviche which was the best I've had in a long time. We will be ordering there again tonight. I want to try the mahi-mahi tacos or the yellowfin tacos and my husband is up for the Cuban pork tacos. Call in your order in advance because they do get busy. There is some seating in the old mill if you don't want to take it out to your place. This is high quality food in a casual style. You will not be disappointed at all.
