Ciro's Pizza & Subs

Excellent little gem! My mother and I were broke down and from out of the area. We called and they don’t have delivery services however made an exception out of there kindness to deliver us a pizza and cups with ice for our water.
Thank y’all for taking an already hard situation and making it better with your delicious pizza and sweet employees!

Very quick initial acknowledgment of guests. I have been there many times, and the food is made and served pretty quickly after order is placed. I’ve never been disappointed, in any way. Always enough leftover to take home if I’m still hungry. Lots of outdoor seating once it’s warming up.

Absolutely love this place! My family & I come here every time we’re in VA. I was nervous to try the fettuccini alfredo because I’m usually really picky about it, but it’s excellent!!! So glad I ended up trying it. The pizza is amazing, garlic knots are awesome. Staff is always SO NICE. Will be back again soon.

Great food, great prices and service, best spaghetti and lasagna ever and try the garlic knots(douby bread), fantastic. Ordered the XXL "The Works" pizza and absolutely the best pizza ever. Had never tried their hamburgers, ordered the 1/4 lb burger special with fries and a drink and was not disappointed, one of the best around, highly recommend.

As business owners of Indian River Antique Mall and during our travel we enjoy variety of foods. We have been to Ciro's Pizza several times and it's always consistently excellent. Either it's a Pizza or wings which are amazing. Oh did I mention their fresh salad.

I've always liked the Independence location and prefer it over the Galax one. They make the best stromboli around, and they will do special orders if you ask. The original stromboli (pepperoni, italian sausage, and mushrooms) with chicken added is just amazing, and if you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it.

We have loved Ciros in Galax since we moved here but have never tried the Independence location. Menus are similar but not the same. It is more expensive than Galax and although the food is as good or better. I guess they don't have room for a dishwasher because everything is served in disposable containers, as if it were takeout. A little disappointed. Staff is very nice, but I felt like we were betraying the Galax Ciros location, as we have gotten to know them and very fond of them. The visit to the Independence location was because we happened to be there for another reason....so when in Galax, we will go to that location and when in Independence we will dine there....both locations have pluses and minuses.....mostly plusses, though.

Fresh food as always. Covid protocols in place. Food served on disposable trays and to go boxes. App sampler was very good. So hot I had to lay it out in portions to cool. Ranch dressing is out of this world good.

Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. And the young lady who helped us was so kind. We were so pleased.

I've only been here once and I can guarantee that I will most definitely be back. They have the very best cheese steak subs I have ever eaten in my entire life. If I would have known it was that good... I'd of got two. Lol.

For a small Virginia town, they have some Italian food but what really amazed me was the employees and people. Everyone is so kind and amazing. Seeing as my husband grew up here, it was nostalgic for him to come back and see not much has changed.

Nothing fancy, a little on the worn side. We both had small calzones, his Supreme; mine was cheese steak with veggies. Food was very good, hot, fresh and huge portions. Server was prompt and polite. Would eat there again.

This weekend was the second time we have visited. Service has always been great and they are all very friendly! Food is awesome! Best wings ever! We will be back!

What's not to like about this restaurant -- great pasta, friendly service and very reasonable prices. This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I loved the food. I had a large plate of ravioli for $7.99, and the other 3 people at our table also had pasta. We tried several appetizers and liked them all. The portion sizes are also very generous.

Delicious fresh grilled shrimp cooked perfectly. Fries were fresh and crispy. Philly cheese steak was absolutely yummy! Wonderful friendly attentive server!
