Drift Kitchen & Bar

Resorts are usually well-appointed, and this place is no exception. Awesome service, exceptional food. We had the Tuscan Chicken and the Special of the Day, which was a large Porkchop with cranberry mashed potatoes. These potatoes were really special. The Tuscan chicken had prosciutto and cheese with the creamiest potatoes ever. We did a double appetizer of Blue Crab Cakes and Spinach Fanduta, both excellent. We were gifted a bottle of wine and dessert because we had made reservations for the Winederlust Leap Year Celebration, but it was canceled because we were the only ticket buyers. Nice touch! 👌 This is a really nice restaurant with great atmosphere. Highly recommend, but make reservations because they seem to fill up at night with locals from the area.

April was wonderful and such an attentive server. We had a fantastic time , I ordered the grouper special, first time trying grouper and it was delicious with a pistachio sauce, was absolutely complimentary and delicious over the bed of risotto. I had a Mocktail mojito it was perfect. We went outside and got to play my favorite and serene corn hole, best memories with that game and a giant chess game board, so fun and cool. Great location. We will be back.

We stumbled across Drift Kitchen & Bar walking along Jensen Beach, the Restaurant and Spa are open to the public. Everyone we encountered was gracious, professional and just overall pleased. We sat inside with a view of the pool and beach, it was beautiful. We were only there for a snack so we shared their fish tacos. I can’t remember when we had any better. Our server was Chrystal she was great. Thank you for the memory. We’ll be back to try dinner!

We were referred by a friend. Was told their lunch was good. The Drift did not disappoint. Rebekah,our server was exceptional. The food was delicious, especially the Tuna appetizer and lobster bisque. Looking forward to returning to this beautiful place.

My wife and I had a little date night at the beach and wanted a good view of the ocean with a great ambiance.
Mission Accomplished.
We started at the bar at happy hour with a local beer and my wife got a gin cocktail off the menu with cilantro and a ginger liqueur. She said it was refreshing and delicious. We tried the happy hour conch fritters with sriracha aioli. They were good.
We cashed out at the bar and had dinner in a booth where we could see the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful view!
We started with the meatball appetizer. The meatballs themselves seemed bland but with the delicious marinara and whipped ricotta cheese it was delicious!
We shared the Drift salad on the menu next. With the mixed greens, goat cheese, beets, cucumbers, pickled onions and citrus vinaigrette it was amazing!
We finished with the rock shrimp linguini. My goodness! It was one of the best pastas we have had in a long time!
I forgot to take a pic of the salad but our two favorite things were the salad and the pasta!
Between the great ambience, terrific service and those two amazing delicious dishes we will be back!
If you happen to be on Hutchinson Island and want a cool place to hang on the beach with good food you have to stop here!

Food is phenomenal. Atmosphere is the best around, the view of the ocean is spectacular , the restaurant is beautiful. Staff are always friendly and courteous. The fresh homemade pasta is amazing and the antipasta charcuterie board is one of our favorite appetizers. Fresh homemade personal pizzas, delicious steak and seafood dishes. Great experience and one of our favorite places to dine out in the area.

Delicious food in a beautiful, clean and modern restaurant with a fantastic view of the ocean and friendly and wonderful service! What's not to like! We sat in a booth inside the restaurant with a direct view of the ocean. Our server was wonderful as was the person who seated us. We were even visited by the manager to see how we liked it. This was our first time here and it will not be the last!

Excellent service and amazing cuisine. Our server was LeeLee, she was friendly and very welcoming. The desserts are all amazing especially the Wild blueberry crumble. Both entrees had a array of flavors all of which mixed together perfectly. Plate presentation was also executed perfectly. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious. The service was fantastic as always. We eat there quite often. We spent our anniversary there and it was wonderful.

OK where do I start ?
The best hotel on Hutchinson island by far! A wonderful view of the ocean from the pool and the pool bar - also if you’re lucky enough to be there between 3 and 6 PM during the week M-Th only! (I’m not really sure why they limited to that time)
but they have the worlds best conch fritters only at the pool bar only from 3 to 6 PM Monday through Thursday . If you miss that you’re gonna have to settle for the most delicious and outstanding crab cake I have ever put in my mouth !!
they have won awards for them locally and I can see why !
it’s a must visit just for the crabcakes and conch fritters needless to say the rest of the food is phenomenal great service I must visit if you’re in Jensen on a Hutchinson island or in the surrounding area.

Yvonne was our waitress and she was so helpful and knowledge about the menu. Lobster bisque was so full of lobster,delicious.. the pasta with the broccoli was amazing, and the club sandwich just as good. So happy we went.

This restaurant has consistently great food and good service. I started off day one with the Margarita Pizza. it's not what I normally would get but the service suggested it and I was really happy that she did. It was cooked perfectly and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. For dinner one night I had the pasta Bolognese in the server suggested that I add blackened shrimp. Boy was that good. I wasn't a big fan of the chocolate lava cake. It was a little bit dry. I would definitely come back and eat here again any day.

Great pizza surprise find here. The Rustica Pie was very good. Little bit pricey but high quality ingredients. The ambiance and vibe is very good energy. The barkeep was excellent and attentive.

Loved the homemade pasta, I had the pasta Bolognese and it was yummy 😋. The view is spectacular! Stephanie was our server and she was super sweet. This place has it all, beautiful scenery, friendly staff very good cocktails and delicious food. Complimentary valet parking.

Very impressed by the hospitality! Mike, our bartender was very courteous and helpful by suggesting our new favorite the pizza lineup. His coworker, Cassidy also let us know about their premium coffee we asked about and the manager, John came by to make sure everything was satisfactory. Food great and spectacular view but the hospitality make Drift Kitchen a standout.

We stayed at the resort here and dined at Drift everyday. The food was always good and service was superb!
On our last day we stopped here for breakfast to go. Our server was Vakiesha and she was simply AMAZING. Although our order was to go she went above and beyond. She was so kind and professional and made sure that we were well taken care of. She is truly a gem.

It was too windy to eat outside, but there was a beautiful view overlooking the beach from our indoor seating. Went with a group. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Short rib grill cheese was a hit. As well as shrimp taco, fish taco, tuna poke and the burger. All agreed we would return.

First visit, Jasmine & Sarah Kate at hostess stand were the beginning of an exceptional dining experience. Food, cocktails & views were exceptional but first impressions are everything & the hostesses really created the whole experience!!

A casual dress, fine dining experience. Excellent food and service. This is obviously a chef-driven menu. Very interesting options. Everything we tried was fantastic.

A capable mixologist has developed some unique drinks as well. Try it!
