I highly recommend Lucas Insurance! I have worked with Buddy over the past couple of years and also with Connie and they are always so professional and helpful. These days it’s hard to find reliable companies that actually make an effort to help their clients, but I can say from my own experience that they have been wonderful! If I could give more that 5 start I would!

Highly recommend five stars. My auto insurance premium was about to increase and I came across one of their agent's Buddy Carter on Facebook. I reached out to him told him my current situation and he was able to look over several options for me. At the end I was able to save money with better coverage. He was patient and never felt like a salesperson was trying to oversell me or make a sale. Absolutely, no pressure at all.

I'm a Realtor, I was referred to Mr. Lucas from my own insurance company when I needed a quote for a difficult property, ones that other companies don't bother to insure. We got a reasonable quote for this property. Then I used him for another client on a new home WOW what low rates. Then it happened again. Then I had him quote us on our two properties and between the two we saved over $600 a year. Now I bought a new home after referring several clients in between and he provided insurance for my new home. I also like working with him because he can provide me a quote very quickly and some times that helps my deal go through. I look forward to a good working relationship with him years to come.

I will agree with EVERY negative comment on here regarding Lucas Insurance. First off how is the company still operating I'm calling, leaving messages no one answers or returns my call. I'm trying to request a home owners insurance policy cancelation which increased drastically. I spoke with Connie once that told me Carlos was away on a business trip. Ok I requested my insurance be cancel she
emailed me what I needed to process
the cancelation. I then signed it and forward it back to her and she advisedme that she'llforward it to my insurancecompany to be cancel.This all took place over a week now. So I decided to contact The Peoples Trust to follow up on the request to learn the request had not reach their office and being that they are my broker there's nothing I can do but yet still I'm being charged my the insurance company every day that my policy is still active with them. You guys need to answer your phone and cancel my policy. I have to right to my home is paid off. Good luck getting in contact with someone at this company when you need them! Someone from the insurance company tried calling a few times while I was on the phone there was no luck. Very poor I take my one star back 0 star.

My experience with Lucas insurance was not a pleasant one. Carlos is a bait and switch artist. He comes off as very pleasant and personable but that last long enough to get you to sign off on a policy that is way overpriced. In short I dealt with Carlos for a week on a Commercial policy that took me 4 hours to get with another agency. In my experience Carlos was not attentive to details made assumptions about my business to gain a quote instead of asking detailed oriented questions that he should know to ask being that insurance is his business. Also he tried to overcharge my company by 4 thousand dollars. He initially gave me a quote of 17,000 he also had me go and purchase additional products and services that put me out with about $400 for an Eld which is not required. In addition his final numbers came back in it just shy of $20,000 after he told me the ELD would actually lower my rates. I was a little bit suspicious because in doing my research I found that my out-of-pocket cost should be somewhere around 14 to 15 thousand for the year as a backup I received a secondary quote and eventually got insurance for not $17,000 but $15,000 with the same company with the same levels of insurance that Carlos told me was $4,000 more. When I addressed this with Carlos via email you would think that he would be sensitive to my needs as a customer or at least take ownership but instead he doubled down and sent me a nasty email stating that he did not need my business. I can only assume that the only way Carlos or Lucas insurance wants to conduct business is if they can over charge you. Please anyone considering using Lucas Insurance make sure that you have several competitive quotes before you agree to what Carlos suggests you might save yourself thousands like I did.
