Gordon Food Service Store

Went to this one in Orlando and got the usual things we go to GFS for. Usually go to the Melbourne store as it's closer to fort Pierce where we live. All the same items if not more.

How did I not know about this place sooner? OMG! The BEST place for bbq smoking wood and quality meat at great prices!

Found what I was looking for. I saw lot of other stuff to come back for. Prices were good and checkout was fast.

Gordon is a sleeper in that nobody seems to know about it but for buying in bulk its AMAZING. Absolutely live Gordon. Still use BJ's, Costco and sometimes Publix and other relatively small unkown grocers for specialty item but Gordons def deserves a top spot. If you dont know NOW you know.

GFS is a great place to stock up on supplies. I prefer to buy the big can of beans for chili instead of opening several small cans. You would be surprised how much money you can save. Another hit with the family are the frozen pizza crusts. At about $1.25 per crust, each person can design their own pizza. Grill them for extra flavor.

James is always so friendly to people doesn’t matter who he makes you feel welcomed and appreciated for choosing to come to spend with them. I really think He should be promoted to management position store is always clean and organized when he is on shift. I have come several other times when he was not working and staff doesn’t want to help you because you look normal so they have attitudes when asked to grab a case of something but they don’t know that looks can be deceiving. James has never given me any problems or dirty looks like the night shift has but if I based it off of two bad apples it would not be fair to other morning staff so 5 star it is.

Great selection of prepared frozen foods, fresh produce and meats. It's more food service related as evidenced by the packaging of their goods as opposed to Costco, but there's something for everyone. We love their prepared frozen stuffed cabbage, pies, scalloped and au gratin potatoes, Salisbury steak, beef stew, kings ranch casserole, stuffed peppers, frozen clam chowder and Italian wedding soups. If you have the extra freezer space this is the place for you.

Gfs is always my go to for parties. Just moved from Illinois was hoping I could get my Allonco beef here but was not in stock. The manager was very helpful and is looking into seeing if can order it for me. Great customer service here!!!

Love this place for food and cooking supplies, including kiln dried wood for the smoker. Some supplies are priced high, but fresh meats are priced low. Opens at 7AM which is also fantastic.

Planning for a church function. EVERYONE was very friendly and helpful ( even another couple shopping were helpful). An exceptionally pleasant experience. AND they had all the food and serving items that we needed for the 160 planned attendees. Highly recommend GFS when big quantities are required ( but we also bought a few things for regular home use as well ).
