Pamperin Park

Beautiful short walking trail here. Lots of wildlife in the water including crayfish, fish, turtles, ducks, and frogs. There’s also a newly remodeled park here and a place for frisbee golf.

Such a beautiful park on a nice day! It’s big, and has so many picnic tables! I loved walking around and checking out different areas. There is plenty of parking, shaded areas, a disc golf course, big playground area for the kids, sand volleyball courts, restrooms, etc.

My kids had so much fun here! The playground is great!

I'll add, though, that I never went to the playground before. I've seen comments about how it used to be a wooden castle playground, which makes me sad that they tore it down.

This playground is super awesome! But I love the uniqueness of the wooden castle playgrounds. I've made a point to stop at every one I find on our road trips. It would have been nice to check this one out while it was still like that.

I also saw another comment about how there used to be more shade. I definitely agree that these newer playgrounds end up taking out a lot of the trees and so there always ends up being less shade, which definitely makes getting overheated more of a concern.

Still, I really enjoyed this playground. And my kids had so much fun, too!!! My youngest was ecstatic about the ziplines! I would definitely recommend this playground to anyone. There is a lot of different fun stuff to do. It keeps you entertained.

Recently updated playground and large enough to have a large quantity of joyful faces. Be aware that the zip line attractions often knock over younger unsupervised kids. Great green space and walking paths.

Gorgeous oasis of a park 2 minutes off of the interstate. It is fantastically romantic in nature. Worth the stop!

Beautiful park that appeared well maintained. Saw several wedding parties and many other gatherings throughout the park. Bathroom appeared clean with flushing toilets and running water.

Wow, it is gorgeous here. This park is immaculately kept up while still retaining a natural feel. The stone work of the buildings and landscaping is very unique and definitely adds to the attractiveness of the park. The bridge over the water is quite picturesque and in the summer I could easily see losing an entire day just wandering through this park. I highly recommend a visit it is definitely worth it.

We rented the dance hall for our son's rehearsal dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We received many compliments that night on the facility itself. One note, it is not air conditioned. It wasn't a problem for us, as it is a stone building with plenty of fans but could be a problem if it was a hot day in August.

Family orientated area of children’s play equipment. Rental venue for weddings and receptions. Beautifully landscaped. A popular photography venue for High School Senior Photography and Proms. Picnic tables, a running creek surrounded by flora and fauna alike! Go visit!

Very nice park, playgrounds are under construction. Has a well maintained 18-hole disc golf course.

Update 7/27/22: Seems they have worked on the frolf course by cutting some trees and adding wood chips to help level the area. Still fun!

Awesome park. I remember coming here as a child to play on the big playground. Also has volleyball areas. The frolf course is fun and can be a workout since you're going up and down hills in the woods. Pictures show some scenery of the bridge that leads to the course.

Beautiful park and great for all ages. My newly 2 year old had a blast on the zip lines, playing music, and going down the slides. Only negative thing I’d have to say is that there is next to no shade so slides were pretty hot.

Lovely park with a interesting history. Well-maintained, playground, walking areas, dog friendly if you clean up. Great venue for weddings or other parties. Went to a family reunion there today and was very impressed with well variety of picnic area options, not too crowded even on a Saturday.
People there are respectful of one another and clean up after themselves.

This was our 1st time visiting this park today. My kids ages 5,6. Really enjoyed it. It's very unique with the wood play area. Has swings, tunnels, monkey bars, slides, climbing areas, chimes, tic tac toe and so much more. Lots of space for a picnic and plenty of table areas. Bathrooms are across the road by the parking lot. Little bit of a walk but at least they have restrooms. Parking lot is big enough for many cars. My kids gave it the stamp of approval and I've added it to my list of favorites. Highly recommend to anyone with children!

They did a wonderful job redoing this park. Zip line is pretty cool for kids.

Park beside creek, so beautiful. It has toughest disc golf park. Hanging bridge, Kids play park, Volleyball court, BBQ and trails.
This park has some vintage features. Must visit in summers and have relax time with families.
