North Mississippi Medical Center-Pontotoc

Was taken to ER in Pontotoc. The facility was very clean. Dr. BALLARD and staff were very caring and efficient. I had blood work, EKG and CT. Reports were back in around 30 minutes. I think they were great.

Visited ER and was checked in quickly and well attended

They take to long and they don't show any concerns about the patents

My disabled mother has been down there since one in severe pain behind her rib cage already has trouble breathing and not one nurse doctor or anything has been in there to check on her.

If it was a 0 to tap I definitely would. This place is not fit for animals. No Doctors in ER, only a nurse practitioner that is so unprofessional. I'm chronic ill and was turned away. I feel because I woke her up at 1AM.
If you really need help, do not go to Pontotoc Hospital. A chance you will die there.
I wouldn't Carry my dog there.
I was warned about this hospital before going. I wish I had listened. Take this review to heart. Go to a hospital with a Doctor. Please

no seat left rude people five hr wait while bleeding out

You wait so long to go to the back, and they heard you out like cattle. The doctor didn’t even care about the patient. He went in there barely checked us. They DON’T even have COVID 19 testing.....during this pandemic, they said it’s not practical to have because it’s take a week to come in. Better off go to new Albany or Tupelo. This is just some out of many things wrong with this hospital.

My family member was taken to NMMC-Pontotoc Emergency Room via ambulance. NMMC-Pontotoc is nothing more than a BANDAID STATION. EXTREMELY rude staff, inattentive staff, EXTREMELY SLOW, also very unsanitary, there was blood still on the bed and floor from the patient before my family member. They misdiagnosis individuals, and do NOT pay attention to allergies (almost killed my family member by giving them a medicine that NMMC-Pontotoc ER was told 3 (THREE) times the patient was allergic to, then gave the wrong patient discharge papers (HIPPA VIOLATION) and when we received the bill, there were 12 items on there that were NOT used/received or anything, but my family member WAS charged for this. Called billing and were told we had NO PROOF the items weren’t used. If you can go ANYWHERE besides Pontotoc, you definitely need to, you would probably get better service at the local Veterinary office.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I brought my wife here for intense pain in her lower back and stomach and we have sat in the waiting room for over an hour and when I went to the desk to ask how much longer it would be the lady never answered me and proceeded to stay playing on her phone. This is the most unprofessional hospital I have ever been to.

Extremely rude staff and always act like you aren't actually sick have actually had doctors lie on reports he didn't know I'd see on followmyhealth

You can be the only person in the er and it take 3 hours jus to get back if ur dieing best bet is go to new albany or tupelo
