Encore Furniture

I purchased furniture through a local retailer that I thought was a good quality. Unfortunately, after owning the furniture for 13 months, I noticed that my "leather" couch was starting to flake off, leaving holes in the furniture. Additionally, the springs of the frame began poking through the seat cushions. My husband and I are not heavy people. We probably weigh 250 lbs, if that, combined. So, the furniture was not falling apart as a result of too much weight. The retailer who sold us the couch has gone out of business (probably as a result of selling crappy furniture). I contacted Encore to see if they would stand behind their furniture. They are not standing behind it. Even the frame, which was supposed to have a lifetime warranty is not being honored by Encore. I would strongly recommend that you go somewhere else to buy furniture. They are not a reputable company.
