We came in with a big group (about 16) and they were so ready for us and it was no problem as we had called ahead. First impressions, it was a cute but well laid out space with a big bar area and very nice patio with fire pits and lighting. We sat right down and the staff was very attentive. Drinks came out quickly. They really anticipated our moves and that was very appreciated. Apps were ordered and delicious. Entrees next and wow! You will pay a little more for farm to table, but the ingredients and thought that is put into your meal is very apparent. Please check this place out if you can because you will certainly get a good experience.

Nice little place with a good menu that has something for everyone. Definitely some good twists on a lot of the sides, appetizers, and dishes. In addition to the dining area, there’s seating at the bar. We called ahead (a couple weeks) to get a reservation for 20 and they made sure they were staffed!!! The service was excellent. Some places our group goes to they can’t or don’t staff for big groups. If you’re looking for a little more of a swanky dinner with a relaxed atmosphere, then this is your place. We enjoyed everything.

Exceeds our expectations every time! Wow! Tomahawk steak was incredible, deviled eggs are the best you’ll find anywhere. Our server Jacquelyn was amazing! The entire experience and meal was amazing. Great salad, mocktails, and desserts. Trust me, you won’t find a better meal it’s worth the drive.
We’ve started going at least once a month.
Full service bar as well. Cozy booth seats available as well.

Such a wonderful experience! 1st time there, but definitely won't be my last. It was my birthday dinner and I got a card signed by the staff. Arieanna was one of the best servers I have ever had! She was friendly, didn't mind answering questions and offered suggestions to help make up our mind. The steak was delicious. We had later reservations so they were out of baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, but the sweet potato fries were so good! Unfortunately they were also out of deviled eggs which was the main reason I picked to go there. It was fine though because the potato skins were really good. This was truly a great birthday experience!

I hosted our Raleigh Clayton Area Foodies group here last night, and we had an exceptional experience! We had 15 for dinner on a Thursday night. The owner (Russ) was fabulous to work with for reservations and working with a large party. The food was phenomenal and service on point. I definitely recommend checking them out! We enjoyed the Ahi and deviled egg (surprisingly sweet) appetizers. I had the filet mignion which was cooked perfectly as asked...medium rare. The ribeye was impressive, and all expressed how much they enjoyed their meals. I literally went around and had a bite of each dessert (butter cake, carrot cake, creme Brule cheesecake 😋) they were so good! It was great to meet Russ, who came out and spoke with me as we were leaving. I love their story and am happy to support their awesome farm to table restaurant.

Once again, our dinner was marvelous. We make reservations in case it’s a busy evening, even though we eat on the early side. From the moment we arrive until we leave, the greeters, bartenders, and servers are always friendly, professional and they pay attention to details - making the atmosphere very welcoming. My favorite is the Farmhouse Burger. Because the serving is large, there’s enough to take home. The beef is fabulous, and the hand-cut fries are the best. My husband had the Fettuccine Alfredo (also a large serving) with chicken and he enjoyed his meal as well. PS The large poster in the women’s restroom of a young Tom Selleck in jogging shorts - brilliant!

Believe the hype! This place is amazing!! Not only is the food out of this world, but the service is second to none! We feasted on deviled eggs, potato skins, bread, steaks, and a plethora of desserts! The ribeye & loaded mashed potatoes were delicious. I had the gingerbread cake for dessert (which I thought was even better than the brown butter cake) and washed it down with a French coffee press! Everyone in our group left happy. Definitely worth the money and the drive!

Every dish here is expertly plated and seasoned. I cannot recommend it enough. I ordered my steak rare and it still managed to be properly seared, salted with a knob of butter.

Delicious! Everything we ordered was delicious. The tacos, from the small plate menu, had me saying Wow! Filled with Ribeye meat, fresh onions, and Creme Fresh on handmade corn tortillas with some kind of tasty red sauce on the side. They were just fantastic. The wedge salad was a half head of crisp lettuce large enough for us to share. I ordered a Blackberry Bramble (with vodka) for an alcoholic beverage, and it was yummy. So much so that I had another, and at $15 each, you know it had to be good to get another. My husband found Red Oak on draft, so that was his choice of beverage. Red Oak is always best on tap in our opinion but hard to find. He also had the 12 ounce Angus Ribeye for dinner. Huge flavor and perfectly cooked, well, at least for me. He likes his steak a bit less red. But he ate the whole thing, so it must have been good. I ordered the Mahi Mahi. Again, all I can say is it was delicious. Moist, flaky, and well seasoned. The risotto and pineapple salsa were fresh and just the right accompaniment to the fish. We ended with the Brown Butter Cake. Fantastic! If you like cinnamon and caramel, you'll love this decadent dessert. We will definitely be going back. Oh, the bill came to around $156, not including tip. So the place is not inexpensive but it was worth it to us.

We have been here many times since they opened. Absolutely one of our favorite date night spots. I finally made it on a prime rib special night and let me tell you, I’ve had a LOT of prime ribs all over the country and this one was one of, if not THE best I’ve ever had. Paired with their risotto and house salad, can’t make a more perfect meal. Thank you guys for keeping this place genuine and incredible since day one!

My wife has wanted to visit this place for a long time. We were finally in the area and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very nice and open. Bathrooms were cute and clean. Lighting and ambiance gave it a very relaxing feel. The wait staff were very good and almost too attentive. The food was exactly as advertised. Their Farm to Table offerings were very good. Hot and fresh. The wife got a nice cocktail and they have a good selection of beer. If you are into bourbon/whiskey…they have a large selection for you. Recommend a reservation as without it, you will likely only get a bar seat…and those chairs aren’t super comfy…especially for those with an ample backside. We will definitely visit again..with a reservation :).

Super cute little place. Easy reservation and reminder system. We were greeted, seated promptly. The service was friendly and food served very quick. The hot honey chicken sandwiches were amazing. The best I've ever had, actually. And they had the gf option of grilled and a gf bun. They even had a card signed by all the staff in honor of our 22 wedding anniversary. So.sweet. Amazing little find in Bunn.

Service was awesome just like we were part of the family. (It's a family owned business) got a history lesson from the owners son. Though we didn't try it this time several others at the bar had the Mac and cheese with BBQ pork and loved it. My wife had the pork special and loved it. I went with the ribeye it was cooked to perfection and delicious. Also desert was very good. Now just need to make plans for the Mac and cheese which will be soon.

Rustic Roots is a 25+ minute drive for us but 100% worth the drive. We were recommended by a friend so we made a resy for Friday evening. Definitely make a resy as it was hopping by 5pm. They have a huge bar area which next time we will arrive early for a pre-dinner cocktail before taking our table.

The hostess, our server, food runners… all excellent, super friendly, well trained, and fast with new drinks. The owner walked around to each table chatting, making sure your happy, seeing returning customers, you could tell her WANTED to do this vs part of his job. A professional and warm touch.

We started with an Old Fashion and a Grey Goose martini both delish, albeit light on the pour but that seems to be a theme in the “Raleigh” area in general, we’re used to country club pours at nice restaurants before we moved, but great tastes and we ordered another. Then I ordered a glass of the reserve Cabernet which was excellent and a nice pour.

We ordered the Pollo Pow Pow appetizer which was FABULOUS, tasty, just the right amount of heat, delish. Then the Tomahawk for 2 cooked medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It was huge 36oz and we ate every bite. They serve it on a cookie tray which is neat and kinda funny. It came with 4 sides. The juicy bread is yummy. And for dessert we shared the brown butter cake… OMG it was the BEST, I mean you want to lick the plate of every bit.

Everything was excellent. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends, and come back with couples. Our bill was $235 plus tip.

If I could give this a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. The drinks were delicious, the food was BEYOND incredible, and the service was great! Drove out from Raleigh just to try it, and we couldn't have been more satisfied. DO NOT leave without trying dessert!

We ate here for my moms birthday dinner and it was delicious. I had the Hog Wild mac and cheese and it was wonderful. The deviled eggs are one of my favorites. Leave room for the great dessert’s.

Absolutely A+. The atmosphere is amazing and decorated so authentic that you really do feel like you grew up on the farm. All the staff were very attentive and very friendly. Now what blew me away completely was the food! I ordered a Hemp Ceasar Salad with a 12oz Ribeye and Loaded Baked Potato. Now I'm a meat and potato kind of guy but this salad was so good that I would absolutely order it every time. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and you could seriously taste the grill on them. I really considered ordering a second steak it was that good. You really would be foolish to turn up an opportunity to dine at this small country town gem. The owners should be very proud!
