I Smell Bacon

This was a very popular spot for late breakfast. We had to wait for a table but we got in 10 minutes earlier than the hostess quoted us.
Our waitress was really friendly and kind. The breakfast was delicious.

Amazing, we were passing through and thought the name was funny. Best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Bacon is thick and eggs are fantastic. The biscuits are beautiful. Staff super friendly and quick!

Great food, awesome prices, lovely service :) Wish the gravy was served a tad hotter, as mine was a little cold, but overall so good and would definitely come back when visiting Eufala!

I’m 51yo and I get chicken fried steak a lot. This chicken fried steak was so much better than any other that I have ever had. It was an experience I will not soon forget. I am ruined to chicken fried steak from anywhere else. The service and atmosphere were very downhome and I will be returning anytime I am in the area!

A very Charming little restaurant. The fried okra was the best I've ever had. The staff was Timely, super friendly and attentive. It's a pretty small restaurant but it's just the right size for itself. The food was amazing. My friend and I very much enjoyed it. One of the regular customers even picked up our bill before we were done. I had a wonderful experience and hope to go back again. So many wonderful choices on the menu.

The lady who cooks does it well! Porkchop was fall apart tender, eggs were eggcellent and Hashbrowns were terrific! Coffee was great! Service was fast.

Best fried mushrooms... Omg. I call in from here a lot and they're always super friendly and only take about 15 minutes.

What else could I possibly say about a restaurant that has over a million reviews. It is a greasy spoon cafe at its finest. Three words sums up this meal. Everything was amazing.

Found myself in Eufaula at lunch time today. Saw this hole in the wall restaurant as I was driving by and turned around to check it out.

The interior is decorated with bacon themed t-shirts, mugs etc. Small town diner vibe with plenty of locals coming in for lunch. A lot of people were ordering the chicken pot pie but I had my sights on something else.

Today we have chicken fried steak. This was incidentally also the priciest item on their menu.

I was given the option to order it with

1) breakfast option which came with 2 eggs your way, hash browns and biscuits and gravy or toast

2) lunch option with a side and roll.

I picked option 1. Eggs sunny side up. The chicken fried steak looked glorious taking up half the plate and covered in white gravy. This was cooked to order so it was not sitting around getting soggy. It came with a steak knife which was needed for this bad boy. Cutting into it the knife bit through the perfectly crispy batter and released a cloud of steam from the inside a thick cut steak that had been pounded and physically tenderized to perfection. This is exactly how all chicken fried steaks should be prepared and served. This is the gold standard. The eggs were perfect. The hash browns crispy. Not everything was nirvana however. The gravy was good but slightly lacking in flavor and my biscuits were ever so slightly underdone as can be seen in my pictures as they weren't done browning.

Overall I definitely stop by again and order it again but next time with the lunch option to change things up a little.

Good food, fun atmosphere. Easy on and off Hwy. 69 in Eufaula OK. We will visit again!

We found this cute little spot on our way home from our honeymoon at dogwood campsite. The place was packed, but our food was good and we received it quickly. Next time we're in the area we'll definitely eat there again!

This was our first time here. Food was great and so was the service! Will definitely return soon. I got the Big Pig Omelette with B&G.
