1st time here. Beautiful, clean, peaceful and well maintained. The campsites are nestled in between rocks and a beautiful view of the lake. Trout fishing & nature trails!!! Fun place to be in nature. The bathrooms are clean and very well maintained. We will be back!

Huge state park! There are the camp host, 1 other camper and us! It is beautiful here. We walked by the lake and watched the American Pelicans (I think). There are lots of cabins, swimming, boating, fishing, playground and a pool. I am sure there are many more amenities, but we only spent one night. . It is spring here. It is very green!

Beautiful place. You can go into some of the small coves summer or winter and still feel like you're not right on top of somebody. Great place to hike around especially in the fall and winter. The cabins are immaculate. The cabins are in a great location.

Used to have three boats at Pine Cove Marina at Tenkiller State Park years ago. Moved away, came back to visit and show grandchildren and it didn't disappoint. Everything I had hoped for plus. Our grandchildren said best time "Ever"!! We will be back on another visit to Oklahoma.

We stayed in Fox Squirrel #53 for the weekend. The park was pretty empty and very quiet. The space was set up differently with the hooks ups, fire pit, picnic table, and grill all on the drivers side of the RV. The bathrooms were close. To get to the lake water was a bit of a jaunt but walkable. There is a park a short distance away across the other side of the street. The nature center has live animals and live snake feedings on Saturday. There is a restaurant within a three minute walk of the site in the other side of the road that has a life size Jenga game and all y oh can eat catfish. Lake Ten Killer is one of the best lakes in Oklahoma and you can rent a pontoon boat and tube from Pine Cove Marina only a few miles away. The temperature near the water is about ten degrees colder than the campsites of you decide to go for an early morning walk. The bathrooms were decent and not as bad as some of the reviews would lead you to believe. You can buy camp fire wood at the park if needed.

Great cabin, just minutes from Dive Park. Visibility was good. School bus, a couple of small boats, and an airplane. All around 30-40 ft down. A helicopter, a toilet. All to see and explore. Not to mention, the fish seem to like the divers.

Despite triple digit temps we had a great weekend; one night with grandkids and one to ourselves. The nature center is fun and educational and they have several activities for littles. The pool area also has a splashpad so young and old can enjoy.

This is by far the most beautiful and amazing lake in the state of Oklahoma and its so freaking clean love spending time here. They have a playground for the kid cl3an restrooms and plenty of picnic areas for everyone and you can bring your fur babies too and the have a nature center that's pretty cool too !!!

Absolutely beautiful park. Clean cabins, most facilities well maintained. Leanne at the nature center gave us a phenomenal introduction to the flora and fauna of Oklahoma. Rich fossil deposits. Would come back any time.

This camping area is great! It had power hookup but no sewer. My spot was right on the lake and it was beautiful. Didn’t visit the restrooms so can’t talk on those but a great place to camp beside the lake and it only Cost $18, for the night.

We had an enjoyable time at Tinkiller. With travel time being only a of couple hours from where we live, it was a nice in-state getaway. We decided to stay in a ten-person cabin for three nights for a summer family trip. The cabins were comfortable, and seemed to have enough space to comfortably fit the nine of us with our luggage. The only snag was that one of the top bunks had a very bad stench, which caused one of us to sleep on an air mattress that we brought. I slept on an unfolded sofabed, which I actually found pretty comfy. The beds and bunks seemed comfortable also (no complaints from those who slept on them). The sinks in each bedroom were a nice feature - it really saved a lot of waiting for the bathroom. I believe cooking ware is normally provided, but as a precaution to the virus, they decided to stop providing dishes for at least this summer.

We spent the entire trip at the park. The water was nice (very clear, if that makes a difference). You can easily see the rocks two or three feet below the water, but I heard it can get deep fast. It's very pretty to walk along, and the rocks around the shore are amusing. There's also a pool nearby available to swim in free of charge.

We biked along several trails, which had great views. One had bits of history posted along the paved path. We read that Tinkiller was given its name by a prominent Cherokee family that owned a ferry on the river. The family had an ancestor who's bow had ten notches, and the soldiers and pioneers at the nearby Fort Gibson gave him the name.

We also rented a pontoon boat from Pine Cove Marina for several hours. The people there were very friendly, and we enjoyed watching the carp and turtles at the marina entrance. When boating around you can find a fairly tall cliff (about 20') that people were diving from. The tubing was a fun activity to do also.

Relaxing on the cabin deck overlooking the (very spacious) backyard in the evening was nice, and there was plenty of room to play yard games. We also found a couple of trails that lead down to the lake from the cabins (even though they are a little steep). Those trails connect to a longer hiking trail which wraps around the area.

At the end of the day we would roast marshmallows for s'mores. We decided to try using other candy bars instead of plain chocolate for our s'mores (tuned out good btw). Being that the stars were pretty vivid, we had fun stargazing too (see pictures).

Overall, Tinkiller State Park was a pleasant visit.

One of my favorites so far. Employees are so nice and professional. One of the workers remembered me and my dog hiking at another park...made me feel special.❤
The trails are well marked, informative signage, and a great overlook. I suggest an evening stroll to watch sunset.

Tenkiller State Park is our go to when having a family get-together. The accommodations are simple, but well-maintained and clean. The lake and surrounding countryside are beautiful.

Pine Cove was great! The whole area was very clean, no over flowing trash any where. The boat dock wasn't over flowing. Most of the time there is no parking at the boat dock parking and we have to go up the road to park the trailer. The water was clean, even the swimming area was well maintained. The marina is fully operational with gas available. There are several landings at Tenkiller so it is worth doing some recon to see where works best for you.

One of my favorite state parks! The park is really nice with Frisbee golf, a pool, a playground, nature center, RV campground, tent sites, cabins, and marina. Tenkiller is one of the best lakes in OK, so great spot if using the lake. Last year we stayed in a cabin, cannot recommend them, they are in need of updating, this year we took our RV and loved it. Stayed at Fox Squirrel, which has full hookups. Shady Grove does also, but the sites are really close (though a nice overlook nearby). Fox Squirrel is close to the nature center, marina and pool (which sadly wasn't even open, I wish the state parks had their own website with up to date information other than the terrible travel OK site). When open, the pool is also one of the best at the state parks with a rock wall and water slide. Walking trails are short and easy, multiple areas to access water (though the "beaches" are rocky). Marina is reasonably priced to rent a boat. All the tent sites look awesome if you can handle the heat!

Such a beautiful State Park. The RV campground we stayed at had full hookups and still felt very open, as opposed to some other rv sites we've been to.
Fish were biting slightly poorly, but I attribute that circumstance to be due to the fact that it was flooding the weekend we visited.

We will definitely be back here
