Awesome experience! I grew up riding in the Midwest, so sand trails are a whole new experience for me. What a cool place to ride and it’s so convenient to get to.

Awesome place to ride right outside Charleston. Best time to go is right after a slight rain so sand is little hard pack. Clean your air filter after every ride when it’s dry, it will save your engine! Always call hot line before you head out too, they close the trails when it rains too hard because south loop will flood.

This place has decent trails that are close by. Not much elevation change, we are in the low country, but are pretty fun. The north and south loops are long enough to not become boring. Watch out for large puddles after it rains.

Nice forest trails, sometimes a little sandy and loose. More challenging (difficult) on a dual sport or ADV bike. $5 ride all day.

Not much experience with this place yet but I'm looking forward to it in the not too distant future.
Fees are very reasonable (all they're asking for is $5 per day per rider) and for the hugely beneficial causes of saving and maintaining our forests while we reap the benefits and enjoying them.
They have a couple of decent offloading ramps for the toys, nice campgrounds and what appear to be pretty lengthy loops to ride.
While exploring and driving the dirt roads, I saw some large hawks, an owl and a huge gray heron (I think). Pretty sure it had a wingspan of 8 to 10 ft.
Of course it's sandy and susceptible to closures due to the fact it's surrounded by marshland which is directly affected by tide and weather so I would suggest being mindful and check ahead.
Come out and camp, play, ride, throw frisbee, tell ghost stories, have some fun and be respectful of nature by leaving it better than you found it.

This trail has exceeded my expectations. This is my first time here and I read good reviews but didn’t really know what to expect. The trails are clean and well groomed, there are decent burms on most turns and it’s very technical but simple to ride if you slow down (great for experienced or beginners). The fee is $5 but we’ll worth it. The north loop is lots of twists and turns with 3-4 straights with some little uneven whoops. I’m used to riding tracks and open desert so I’m going much slower to avoid the trees. I will be returning.

Great place to ride. Trails are not all wide open nice tight trails lots of woops. I have been riding here since I was a kid I have two kids and they have grown up riding here. I am 52 and ride a YZ 250 2 stroke dirt bike I like this place better than others we have been too because it's tight and technical and not just like riding down a dirt road.

We had lots of fun after we figured out how to handle the sandy conditions! I like that the trail offers areas to cut across and not have to take the entire loop considering we are just learning. Unfortunately the bathrooms are still closed due to Covid-19.

Very nice trail we keep .
People come in w/ out paying not right they are not honest . A forest ranger needs to check more often. Love the trail ..

Nice trail riding at a low low cost $5. Don't care for the people who host camp but do nothing. Bathroom not clean of leaves or cob web's. I'm sure you know how to use a broom. Come on host do something.

The trails are sandy and my son had difficulties at first, since he hadn't ridden in those conditions. After a little bit he got the hang of it and had a blast!
