This was a great place to stay. They had a game room that my boys basically had all to themselves. The staff were amazing. The bathrooms were clean. We couldn't ask for a better place to camp.

Traveling on I-40, this convenient campground/resort was exceptional. Clean and well-maintained, our gravel site was flat, level and long with plenty of side yard. Lots of activities in summer, nice amenities (including cable tv) and very friendly staff. Tiny houses/cabins look inviting and are immaculate. For those with dogs, there are dedicated spots with shades dog fences. Our go-to as we go cross-country!

My brother was on his way from Georgia to Kansas and stopped for a couple of days so we could visit. The facilities are great, bathrooms are spotless. It would be nice to have a grill at each site, otherwise very nice place.

I would rate this park a "10" if I could. Beautiful, quiet, secluded and clean. most of all, we arriv d on the evening of a holiday and though they were closed, Nicole came out to the park and filled our propane tanks for us. She went above and beyond to make sure that we did not spend a cold evening in our RV and we were so grateful for her going above and beyond. What a beautiful young woman and incredible employee!!! We will certainly stay at this park if we ever come through this area again! Thank you KOA

Nice camping cabin situated by a small catch n release pond with fountain. The nicest staff ensure your stay is comfortable. This KOA provides linen and pillows for their rustic cabins, unlike other KOAs. Also included is a microwave and a refrigerator! Love this place!

I stayed here 2 days in my RV. The staff was just delightful. Dog park was pretty big And my dogs loved it. It had been raining and they had a slight standing water problem Other than that it was great

We stayed in a tiny home/cabin on our move across the country. We parked our 26' moving truck and car trailer in a different spot. It was super easy to get in and out, the cabin was fantastic, and the employee was super helpful. Great little stopping spot.

We had the absolute best time here! All of the girls that worked here were so welcoming and extremely nice. The amenities were so fun, and there were so many activities for memorial day weekend. The campground is near the city and not too far from Fort Smith National Area.
My only complaint would be rude people that didn't care about the quiet hours, especially knowing there were families in tents a few feet away. But that is not the campgrounds fault, just rude people.

The staff was very friendly and even delivered firewood to our camping spot. They allowed us to return some items that we had not used and they even picked up our trash in the morning for us. The Wi-Fi was good and the spot was clean. They allowed car camping which was an even bigger plus. The showers and the toilets were clean and beautifully tiled. I would definitely stay here again!

We flew in from Denver to visit relatives and got a deluxe cabin. It was terrific. WiFi wasn't sparkling but acceptable for streaming. Nice location and very quiet. The staff was outstanding. We were in #4 backed up to pasture and trees

This KOA is one of the best we have stayed at. Conveniently located right off 40. The lots are level and not too close to one another. The facilities are immaculate, wash rooms super clean, washer and dryers are clean not out dated. They have a pool (too cool for us to swim), Hot tub was nice. They have walking trails and a small pond. This is a great campground with great customer service, Nicole in office was super sweet and always had a smile when we went into the office. If we are ever this way, we will be stopping again.

Great place to stop and rest overnight. Sites are large and well spaced out. Staff are super helpful. Laundry room/machines were clean and all working. Bathrooms and showers looked nice and clean. Would return if our travels bring us back this way.

We had a fantastic time at the Sallisaw / Fort Smith West KOA. The campground is a green oasis only 3/4 mile off I-40, with long, level, shaded pull-thru RV sites, deluxe and camping cabins, a tiny house, and grassy tent sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they made my stay memorable. The campground has many amenities and activities for the guests, such as a pool, a jump pad, water wars, walking trails, a fishing pond, a playground, a gaga ball pit, a box hockey, a washer toss, a volleyball, and a Kamp K9. The rec room has a kitchen, board games, books, puzzles, and a 50-inch TV/DVD player with movies. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable!

Great place. New section doesn’t have any trees but clean and nice grass , great restroom/shower/laundry facility. Sufficiently far from the highway so there’s no noise but still convenient to the offramp.

Another super small town KOA that has gone above and beyond to meet the needs of the camping community. This place is spotless. They have a playground for kids, a seasonal pool, and lots of shaded sites, as well as many new, larger, easy in/easy out sites. Fully stocked and friendly camp store. 2nd KOA in Oklahoma that will fully meet any and all of your camping needs. That being said, I find eastern Oklahoma to be a very attractive part of the country and the locals to be friendly and welcoming! Thanks to all the locals! Go Sooners!

Cliff Notes Version: It was a wonderful place for a quiet getaway with my family. We took our 2 dogs with us. We had a fantastic time and will be returning!!

Long Version: We vacationed here over Memorial Day weekend. Even with all of the traffic and people, it was very clean, well-maintained, and very peaceful/quiet. The campsite had tons of things and activities planned for kids and they were all a lot of fun. The staff was WONDERFUL!! They accommodated absolutely everything and ALL OF THEM were so friendly and helpful!

There was plenty of room to park our small trailer and 15-passenger van.

The on-site store has all sorts of odds and ends that you forget when you go on vacation, as well as some novelty items, fun toys, and souvenirs. We spent a lot of time there getting firewood and the like for our firepit on our patio of the cabin we stayed in.

The campgrounds themselves are clean and well-manicured. They have a playground with some old-school things for the parents(tetherball, horseshoes, sand volleyball, etc.). The pool was small but very well kept and they have a shade cloth over half of it for those of us that usually have to fry in the sun while keeping toddlers from drowning themselves. They have kayaks that you can rent and paddle around a "pond". Honestly, it's more of a hole that is filled with water. But since we have smaller kids they still loved and enjoyed it.

Ok so I only went for propane tank fill and the girl doing the filling was quick, knowledgeable and they do have tank swaps if your tank is no good.

We love this location, we always stay here when we come to Sallisaw. The people that work here are so sweet and helpful, love them so much! The only complaint I have is the camper they rent out to stay in is REALLY old and needs a lot of work. Other than that we no complaints!
