Big Daddy's Right On The Dam Highway

Quiet. Came in early on a Saturday 3Pm.
Drove from Tulsa to try the calf fries, was not disappointed. Traci was our waitress, she was attentive and polite. The calf fries were cooked to perfection. None burnt, not too much bread. The wife had the grilled shrimp po boy, shrimp is fresh!

Definitely worth the drive where ever you're coming from :)

Yummy! Everything was really good! We would definitely come here aging! We both ordered the pulled pork meal. The meat could have been warned up a bit more, still tasted great! The chili cheese fries were hot and fresh! The baked beans were more like pork and beans with onions and peppers, lots of good flavors. Our waitress was supper friendly and took good care of us! The boss lady was out of town and the crew was still doing fantastic! Good job Big Daddy’s!

Hubs and I shared a chicken fried steak “dinner” for lunch…great flavor, one of the best we’ve had. Fries and homemade coleslaw were good too, flavorful sauce on the slaw not runny. Took a blackberry cobbler home for later that was delish! Not too sweet with chunks of blackberries. Would definitely eat here again. Friendly staff, quick service on a Sunday in late April.

Great people. It’s like they pulled up a festive beachfront restaurant and dropped it right here on Lake Tenkiller. Love the creative work that has gone into the place. Big Momma (April), a former art teacher at Vian still has painted murals all over the walls and loves serving their customers on Lake Tenkiller, while her husband works the grill. Both of them have been my teachers and they are some great folks. Have a creative youngster in your crew? Decorate a plate and decorate the ceiling.

Wonderful place with wonderful muriel paintings and unique themes! Big Daddy and Big Mamma are a great couple and I especially enjoyed visting with Big Mamma!!! Can't wait to visit again!!! Thanks for the amazing food and great conversation!!

Surprisingly great pulled pork nachos with plenty to share. Staff was friendly and food was delivered fast.

Staff super nice and helpful. Food taste amazing. They have great seating inside and outside. Big daddy cheese burger with a side of parmesan garlic fries. 😋

Our server was very nice. The restaurant was clean and our meal was good.

Every thing we ate was great. Had Chick Fried steak with gravy, baked potato and grilled veggies. All were perfect. Husbands burger, Sweet Potato fries and secret cinnamon butter sauce was also perfectly done.

Had the chicken fried steak dinner with fried okra, mashed potatoes, and a side salad. The okra was the bomb and the side salad was sooo fresh and yummy! One of the best chicken fried steaks I've had in Sequoyah County! The restaurant deco and dining areas are unique and the outdoor seating was exactly what I'd have expected from a restaurant that's "right on the DAM" highway :)

So I live nearby and have eaten here a couple times a month for about 6 months now.
I've seriously not found a single dish that wasn't terrific and cooked to my liking.
The ribs...outstanding!
The steak...also terrific.
The double cheeseburgers are giant!
Catfish is as good as any place around.
I do have a problem with their desserts....I never have room for it! 😆
Best of all is their wait staff. Very professional and attentive but I do tip well. This is your go to place when you're really hungry as the servings are large!

We're new (1year) to the Lake Tenkiller area and enjoy checking out restaurants and local businesses. Big Daddy's is a warm, country restaurant with good service, good atmosphere and good food. The breakfast was good as well as their dinners. We'll definitely be going back for more. Highly recommended.

Awesome place to eat. Food is always excellent no matter what I've eaten. Management and staff are top notch. Highly recommend you go hungry because the food is delicious and the portions are large.

My wife and I came here to eat after a fishing trip, expecting average "lake food" like most of these restaurants nearby lol. The chicken fried steak was hand breaded and was fantastic, and the sirloin was cooked perfectly (medium rare). The price was phenomenal. Definitely one of the better restaurants we've ever been to, and surely the best restaurant in the area.

It's not fine dining but it is a solid small town diner💪

Good, typical lake restaurant. We went on May 5th. I had the catfish, and my wife had the smothered chicken. Both tasted excellent!

My friends and I ate here on 10/22/22 for the first time and it was amazing! It was packed and the waitresses were busting their tails but were all so friendly regardless of the busyness. We all said we would definitely be going back!

A delightful stop right after the dam. The food is delicious. Best catfish I've had in sometime. The folks here work hard and it shows in the quality of the product produced. Seems like a busy hub for the locals and a nice spot to chill. With campsites and national parks just a quick drive away, this should be a "must do" stop on your list for spring break or a summer getaway.
