Cherokee Hills Veterinary Hospital

We have a new Toy Schnauzer; and since we moved, we wanted to find a new Vet. Our previous Vet had just gotten really expensive. Yelp is my go-to, and Cherokee Hills rating was 4.9. I am so glad I chose Cherokee Hills as our new Vet. Dr. Prichard is the most caring & down-to-earth Veterinarian. Plus, their prices are reasonable. Photo shows our boy is out after his exam & vaccinations. Would highly recommend Cherokee Hills Veterinary Hospital!

The vet sat with me and my dog for probably 30 minutes giving her pets and cheese before she went over the rainbow bridge due to her cancer. She knew she was the best girl before she died. They took care of everything for me while I was grieving. They now take care of my new puppy and I'm super happy with all the care my dogs have received there.

Have loved Cherokee Hills Vet ever since we moved to OKC. Love all the staff as well. They take care and love our two quirky pets!

Dr. Lee is totally focused on his animal patients, evaluating them as he talks to their owner. He takes excellent care with my anxious dogs, speaking calmly and touching gently. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and obviously love animals also. I drive a long way past many other vets to get to Cherokee Hills because they provide such expert care of my pups.

I am so thankful that Dr. Heron/Prichard and Dr. Lee are now practicing together at Cherokee Hills. They are both excellent Veterinarians and they have both worked in Emergency & Critical Care before. They have a convenient location right off NW Expressway and their technicians and office staff are kind, caring and always helpful. I highly recommend them for anyone that needs a veterinarian!!!

The staff on all levels are very personable, relatable, and pet friendly.
I can personally speak to the fact that the veterinarians read notes and history each visit.
They are thorough, but don't waste your time or take a ton of time (which decreases pet stress as well). I have nothing but love for them and what they do.

Dr. Lee and the staff at Cherokee Hills Vet Clinic always take great care of us. My dachshund was sick and not eating. They worked us in late last Friday and got my little love bug feeling so much better right away! Dr. Lee is always sure listen to my description of the problems we are facing, he explains the condition in terms I can understand and the course of treatment. You can expect excellent care for the four-legged family member who is so important!

I love it. I can not believe how lucky I felt, to be so close to Cherokee Hills Vet Hospital, that it was the vet I decided to take my puppy to. I lucked out. It was way less expensive than I thought. i think $60, give or take $10. That's with the visit with the Vet, shots, and heartworm oral prevention, flea and tick oral prevention, and 1 or 2 bags of treats on your way out.. i was so grateful that they didn't nickel and dime me. It's as if they understood- having a pet is expensive and they want to make sure pets get the care they need, so they made it to were even modest income households, could have top notch care for their pets!.. I don't think a $200 vet could be any better than this place. I will go no where else, no matter where I live in the city. The vet, was so good with my pup. You could tell he was thoroughly enjoying his "patient". It warmed my heart, made me relaxed, and endeared that man in my heart. He cares. He listens, he gives good advice. He didn't push anything on us, he did not just give me one word, one sentence responses. He staff was warm and all seems to have a tender spot for animals as well as knowledge. No point in being fond of em if you don't also have the knowledge and ability to treat. I can not over sell this place. Take your pets here, you'll be so happy you did!

Dr. Lee and Dr. Pritchard treat our animals like they are top priority. The entire staff is extremely helpful, friendly and kind and our family feels confident with the care our critter crew receives. We followed Dr. Lee from a previous clinic to Cherokee Hills and it was an excellent choice! He is so kind with our pets and always explains everything perfectly. He is so devoted and loves his patients! One time Dr. Lee was out of town so Dr. Pritchard saw us and we absolutely love her! It’s great to be able to go to a clinic and not care who you see because all doctors and all staff members are top notch!! Dr. Pritchard even waited after hours for me one evening because my new shelter kitty needed a medication. She is extremely devoted and loves what she does. We love Cherokee Hills!!!!

Cherokee Hills is a great place for your furry friends! We took our first kitty there and the staff there are so kind and knowledgeable. 😊

This is the very best bet we’ve ever been too. They love our dogs and I never doubt we’re getting the very best care.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They answered all of my questions and expertly treated my kitten who was very against getting his shots! They made him feel as comfortable as possible and gave him lots of treats. I recommend them to anyone looking for a great vet!

I love this vet clinic! We followed Dr. Lee here from a previous clinic because he is THE BEST with our greyhounds. Not only is he wonderful, but the entire staff is great to work with. e wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was new to the area and brought my pug in. They were quick and professional but made both of us feel comfortable and like we were one of the family. They helped my precious fur baby and definitely spoiled her with love and cuddles at the same time. She didn't shake or tremble to be in the vets office. She was happy and playful, like we were going for a walk. She even got a treat. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere and wonderful people.

BEST VET CLINIC EVER!! We weren't originally planning to use this clinic - just needed to retrieve initial shot records there by our puppy's previous owner. But from that very first interaction, we could sense the care, professionalism and friendliness of Dr. Prichard and the entire staff. In addition to the puppy, we transferred the care of our other dog there and have had nothing but the BEST experience with every visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I would very much like to recommend Cherokee Hills. Dr. Jim Lee has been my vet for almost 20 years and he is absolutely the very best of the best! His incredible knowledge and compassion are outstanding and he's the very best in the field. He has taken fantastic care of all of my Greyhounds for so many years - couldn't live without him. All of the staff at Cherokee Hills have also been so friendly and helpful - they're great! I sincerely give Dr. Jim Lee and the staff at Cherokee Hills my very highest recommendation. Would give them 10 stars if I could :-)

From the moment we stepped in the clinic, the staff was so friendly! Our puppy was treated as if she was a VIP (very important pup!). Dr. Jim was very thorough in explaining things about puppies and our dog’s breed in particular. We look forward to having Cherokee Hills Veterinary as a resource and partnership as we raise a happy and healthy dog.

The staff has always been wonderful at Cherokee Hills. Tabitha is so efficient and sweet with my dogs and cats. I took my pets to Dr. Marshall for 20 years and particularly appreciated that he let me hold my dog, who has chronic anxiety, during the examination, something that makes my dog infinitely more comfortable. Now that Dr. Lee has joined the team, I can't wait to make him my dogs' permanent doctor. I know what a skilled and talented vet he is. (Years ago, he was able to provide great treatment for my cat when no other vet had been able to figure out what was wrong.) And I know how empathetic he is towards the pets he treats and their owners. I highly recommend Cherokee Hills!
