Lake Tenkiller: Overlook Nature Trail and Park

Absolutely a must!! Hidden inside the hills you will find this gem!! Lots of hiking trails, swimming area and covered picnic area..

Great place to have a function or just have some peace !

Beautiful views great area there's a trailhead right there. There's a playground for kids a really really nice spot for a day picnic.

Beautiful view of Lake Tenkiller from this location. Good sized pavilion with a large grill and smaller grill. Nearby restroom. Playground with new equipment and plenty of swings. Had a birthday party here in early September and it was great! Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of parking. Also has a nice walking trail that comes out a mile away at the Methodist Boys Ranch.

This trail is now one of my favorites.... plenty of obstacles, plethora of bridges and a whole lot of wildlife. Its shaded, well maintained and a bit of a workout. Enjoy and get out and explore Oklahoma....

Beautiful place. Many options for tent and RV camping. Also cabins and other activities. Lots of fishing, boating and hiking areas.

Definitely my new favorite place to hike. Well marked trails, beautiful overlook, many bridges, wildlife, and waterfalls. Enjoy.

Beautiful view of the lake! A small park available for the kids. Bathrooms available, which is great for a quick stop on the way down to the lake or anywhere.

Beautiful trail, we hike it as much as possible!

I enjoyed my stay in the park as a 100% disabled veteran.
I’m afraid of getting out, but the staff was so kind and considerate!

Plus my sister and brother in law are retired on a beautiful peace of heaven outside the park!

Every person I came across while eating everywhere (🤣) and on our stops on their tripoon, where very kind!

Best place to visit during summer n fall

So beautiful. Has a small park for the kids. A nice place to eat and grill. Has nice trails to walk. Plenty of parking for a party.

This is a nice family reunion get together spot... There isn't a swimming area, but you don't have to worry about the kids and there is a play area

Great easy hike. Took newbies and experienced family members on fhe trail, and all did great!

I did a balloon release here for my son who passed 4 years ago yesterday... Also I live up here and it is freakin gorgeous
