The brisket tacos and staff working today were top notch! Very professional bar service. My ticket time was less than 15 minutes. The reviews on here are a mixed bag, but I thought it was awesome!

Food was cooked very well. Very flavorful. Some dishes put a creative twist on classics and the Tres Leches dessert was Amazing!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Tequila Johns this past week. Very much reminded me of a small town Del Frisco's Grill with a mexican twist. Food was fantastic as I got to try some delicious pulled pork and pineapple tacos. Easily the best food in the area. You can really taste the time, effort, and care put into the food they make. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Sunday early evening dinner, had the place to ourselves! That's a true shame, as this restaurant has amazing food and is worthy as a Destination itself. Lovely family-owned and run business. If you're anywhere near the area, you Must Eat Here!

Tequila John’s Tex Mex is the best restaurant in Humphrys County, TN. It’s owned by a wonderful family.
The food is made from scratch, so it takes a little time but is worth the wait. John and Yonaira are excellent chefs with many years of experience.
Delicious food, excellent bar service and great, respectful, friendly staff.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, very clean, cozy atmosphere!
We enjoyed their beef tacos and everything on the menu, especially the burgers!

I celebrated my birthday with the family and dear friends last Sunday. Chef Yonaira surprised us all with a varied menu and a Tres Leches (3 milks) cake for dessert, all made from scratch. It was a wonderful birthday with amazing family and friends!

We highly recommend Tequila John’s for your special occasions, or for your every day lunch and dinners. It’s a family-friendly restaurant!

Amazing experience! Will def be back even though we live over an hr away. The staff was amazing, the owners were so kind to us after we had an issue with the Rusty Rooster in Waverly. Thank you for turning our day around. HIGHLY recommend this place!

Great locally owned and operated restaurant. The food was amazing. The people are wholesome.. The owners walk around and greet you. I waited to post a review until after eating here a few times. My family and I have had the same experience every time.

Since we came and ate once, we come back at least once a week! Everything is amazing, from the owners, to the food, to the atmosphere! But the food is the best part! ;) Everyone is friendly and eager to make your experience a great one! Wonderful place to bring the family to have a fantastic dinner!

Food is fresh and made to order. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and great margaritas. I did notice a lot of "customers" don't tip well, but then again, that's the age we live in, if you can't afford a 20% tip you too broke to eat out, hit that MC Donald's dollar menu. 😂😂😂🤡

The food was delish, the portions were perfect. The service was kind and attentive. I will be going back.

Taking a drive from Hurricane Mills and spotted this restaurant. Wonderful and friendly staff. Food was wonderful. Met the owner and he was nice and told us of other things to do there. We are from Alabama and loved this place.

We visited here for the first time. The owner/manager greeted us at the door and was very nice. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. We ordered chips and cheese dip. We ordered a medium and it was a cereal sized bowl of queso with fresh, warm chips!! So good and more than plenty!!! We also both had taco salads with ground beef which were very fresh and delicious! We were there early at 4:30 so there was no wait and our food came out at a perfect pace giving us time to eat some of our appetizer first. I had their house Cabernet and it was good. We will definitely be back. I am sure when this place gets super busy that it might take longer to get your food as some reviews have mentioned but if so, I think the food would be worth the wait.

The last three times we have went there, I have ordered the brisket burrito. If you like some spice, order it with the chipotle cream sauce. I want to try other things, but this is amazing. The staff is always wonderful. I would highly recommend trying them. Don't expect to get in and out quickly, because everything is made to order.

Ok, Lonnie, I have made many visits to Tequila John's and find the service and food to be excellent every vist! The service and bartender is great and to present time we have never had anything but great service. I never thought or saw anything going on behind the cooler as you can see right through the glass doors, nice try faker!

Great food and great Service!!! John and his staff was extremely nice! The food tasted great also! Next time when we are in the area we will make sure to come back and visit!

Jello shots were awesome, drinks great and band was great, food excellent, long Island iced tea and beef tacos 🌮 are great .

What an amazing restaurant, small be wonderful surprise. Our meal was excellent, service was terrific. Variety of draft beer, the Queso Skillet was to die for, highly recommend stopping in when traveling through New Johnsville.

I love this restaurant as much as the family that owns and runs it. Chef Jon and his wife Yonaira are always happy to cook for you, even if it's not on the menu.

Don't come expecting a typical chain mexican dinner. Here, the dining experience is a chance to slow down, sit and enjoy your meal while catching up with friends and family.

Their menu offers traditional meals as well as gourmet options and really fantastic seasonal salads. Their restaurant also offers a full bar! Personally, they have the best margarita on the rocks I've ever had, and I know a good margarita!

Besides their obviously fantastic menu, their staff is friendly and professional. I may be bias but I love coming in and seeing friendly faces. The Reveles family have become very dear friends of mine and I enjoy coming in to see their smiling faces.

If you're looking for a truly enjoyable dining experience and aren't in a rush, this is the place for you.

Also worth mentioning is the fact that they keep all the most important games on so you can enjoy a few drinks, wings and the ballgame! All the convenience of a sports bar, locally!
