6 of us had dinner there on a Sunday evening (beginning the Birkebeiner week). A very pleasant waiter. I had a German pork chop with red cabbage; very good. Others had Sauerbraten; it wasn't quite what they were expecting.

Their Friday night all-you-can-eat fish fry is AMAZING!
Staff is friendly and prompt.
Beautiful atmosphere and worth checking out the Christmas decorations!
Be sure to make reservations if you want to eat in the dining room and not the bar.

When I was in Wisconsin to visit my mom recently we went here for a nice dinner. It is a place they frequent with guests when they have visitors. It is a upscale restaurant with a gorgeous view of the lake. I had a steak and a baked potato and both were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was great too. A few of us ordered mixed drinks and they were great as well. Whenever we go to visit we will be back for sure. I did not stay overnight but the entire property is really cool and looks a great place to stay.

We didn’t stay long, but the Christmas decorations were beautiful and the staff let us go through to see them all. Our main goal was to see the themed buildings. We would love to go back anytime.

Had a few cold Pilsners and a Reuben + cheese curds. Super good. Great atmosphere, service and views are worth the visit..

First time there for breakfast. We arrived and there was a wait. While waiting we realized there were only two waiters that were also bartending on a as needed basis. The two waiters were all over the place and keeping up with what they had to do. They dat us as soon as they could. We watched them interact with all the customers. These fine young hard working men did the owner proud. They appologized for the waits and took care of everyone equally. Because of these two men it was a very enjoyable breakfast and we will definitely be back. The food was as great as the service.

This is an absolutely beautiful resort in Wisconsin's Northwoods. The restaurant is five star. In our party we had filet mignon, coconut shrimp, shrimp scampi and some German dishes. They were all outstanding and the service was excellent. We met the owner Dennis who is very nice and does a great job of overseeing the operations there. Our granddaughter pulled a 48 and a half inch Muskie out of lake Namakagon, the fishing here is second to none.

Gorgeous location. Ate dinner for the Friday Fish fry overlooking the lake. All you can eat fish fry of either the battered and fried or baked variety. Lots of yummy side options. Excellent food and very attentive service even though they were super busy. Will definitely be back!

We went for supper, the food was wonderful and service was fantastic! The Christmas decorations were definitely worth seeing!

This place is a destination!! Great staff, awesome food and a million dollar view. Customer service is as good as it gets.

I can't post on their rooms. We just went for the dining experience and it is very upscale and relaxing. It is expensive. The food is good and looking over the lake and candle light is awesome. I highly recommend.

What an amazing place! We've lived here for years, but never visited. Beautiful German styled lodges and restaurant/bar. Didn't see any rooms, but had perfectly cooked chicken wings and German beer in the perfect lounge area. Well worth the visit and I'm told it's decorated amazingly around Xmas time!

Cabins are exceptionally clean! Wonderful staff. Great food. Amazing views.

Best snowmobile destination! Trails to and from are the best. The whole property is from another world. Love this place ❤

Absolutely amazing! A beautiful stay! Very charming resort, excellent views from the rooms and cabins. Staff was super! Very friendly, service was A+, rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will be coming back for sure!

Worth the drive to get there. It’s a cute little supper club with quirky features on the lake. Beautiful views with good food. The service was so warm and attentive. Don’t miss visiting if you are in the area.

Loved the old lodge atmosphere! Enjoyed great service in the dining room and highly recommend the bread pudding.

Our room was cozy with a cute fireplace, I think a room on the second floor would be more private.
We hope to return in the summer to enjoy boating on the lake when the water is soft...
